The residents of this campground were extremely aggressive and attacked our car when we tried to drop off a family member. We aren't from Ohio and had never visited this campground before. We were harassed and screamed at the ENTIRE time we rode through the campground. We were driving 5mph as the signs said, and we had residents jumping in front of our car, trying to wreck their golf carts into our car, trying to pull my 13 year old sibling out of the car, ect. Office managers confirmed through video that we were not at all speeding and weren't at fault. Absolutely ridiculous behavior and experience. Don't go here unless you want to be attacked by the entire campground.

My daughter and son in law camped at Bluewater for 15 years. This past year was horrible for them. The owner totally changed. He became vindictive, rude and scary. They were harassed every weekend they were there. When they decided to go to another campground the harassment got worse. Tuesday night we all went to the campground to take the remaining items. The owner put a lock on the hitch of the camper. The police were called to get it removed. The owners were impossible to deal with! As parents we are older and wasn't sure what he would do. I would NOT recommend this campground to anyone.

Very decent amenities and lot size. What does annoy me, to no end at times, is how freely they allow vehicle access and parking (2, 3, sometimes even more per lot), as well as golf carts. I understand that the latter is essentially inevitable in this country, yet I would go camping for my rest, and not to see an endless lineup of passing golf carts. To make it worse, each throws up a minor dust storm on the gravel paths, so sitting in front of your camper you, and everything around you, will be covered in dust and sand by the end of the day. Then there is a fair number of them with a complete stereo system installed, blaring music, occasionally loudly; inconceivable to me! Personally, if my wife and I ever decided to purchase a camper, I would go out of my way to find the quietest place. I guess that has everything to do with me not being from the US, and used to a more peaceful and private camping experience...
