We were pleased to find this place. It’s very quiet, beautiful and right on the river. Best part, it was only an hour and half drive from Dallas but felt like much farther from home. Susan the manager was amazing. She made us feel right at home and helped make our stay really wonderful.

This park is rustic. But the sites are spacious and right on the river with beautiful river beach. The facilities are lacking, no sewer and the adjacent bathrooms are portables. The water is from a local well. What I've described was so easy to overlook because the sites were desirable in location. Electric power was clean, neighbors were great. The hosts were awesome as well. We will be back

We really enjoyed our short time here. The spot we were in was well shaded, nice small quiet park. Beautiful stars and fireflies! Access to the river was easy and the kids enrolling on the tube in the river. Looking forward to the next trip - already picked the spots we’d like.

Great little rustic park. We met James and Susie who run the place and they both were amazing and very welcoming. Susie runs around the park and down the beach on their SxS checking on people and she's got to be the nicest person ever! We got a pull through space for our 40' toy hauler and had plenty of space. River access was not a far walk from our site (#20). 30 and 50 amp sites available with water, dump station is on the way out. They have tubes, kayaks, and 4-wheelers for rent (4-wheelers were not operational at the time of our stay). Noticed they also have a cabin or two for rent as well as tent sites, and some RV sites have pavilions. This place is not as feature-rich as some RV parks but will 100% be back here in the future. River was nice and cold, plenty of awesome people hanging out in the river, fishing, and kayaking.
