Customer Reviews
Camp Mack Morris is a wonderful place for the Boy Scouts. Different levels of activities, well-kept grounds, and beautiful scenery. The directors are amazing, and the kids have a wonderful time learning life skills. Ambulance and EMT on site 24/7. Amazing place!
Great place for kids to learn to be leaders in their communities!
Great programs for kids, retreats, and had theor first public Halloween event. I am hopeful it comes a huge event in years to come. I live in Benton County, but in 2006 when I was at Murray State I came here for their ropes course. It changed my life. If I can climb a 35ft light pile and jump off I can do anything.
The C.O.P.E Program at this facility is extraordinarily conducted with detailed experiences and a determination to help accomplish most any goal. The site staff was prompt, pleasant, and professional. The C.O.P.E instructors were intentional, intense, and inspiring! I did not get the chance to explore much of the outlying features beyond the program stop-points, but I'm sure the trails, the scenery, the experiences, and the ambiance are as well maintained as the areas I did partake of. Camp Mack Morris and what it offers to elevate your life should be on everyone's bucket list!!
Facility is in poor repair, has not been properly maintained for sometime. Kitchen facilities are not sanitary and cleaning is neglected. I have attended 6 programs there now as both a volunteer and unit leader, and none were managed or planned correctly. Leadership is poor at best, which is a common theme for WTAC above the unit level. Much better programs and facilities in neighboring districts.
