That’s why we’re here to give you a comprehensive look at what Camp Rucker RV Park has to offer, from its accessibility to its services and unique features. Our goal is to provide you with all the information you need, from a local Alabama perspective, to help you decide if this is the ideal spot for your next adventure or extended stay.

Camp Rucker RV Park is strategically located at 505 Troy Edmundson Rd, Daleville, AL 36322, USA. This address places it conveniently close to major routes, making it easily accessible for travelers coming from various directions across Alabama and beyond. Its proximity to an army aviation base is a significant aspect of its location. While this means you can expect to hear the sounds of helicopters, especially in the mornings, many visitors find that this becomes a familiar "white noise" after a short while, adding to the unique character of the area.

The park's location also offers a good balance between a peaceful, treed environment and access to local amenities. While the park itself provides a quiet retreat, essential shopping and dining options are just a short drive away. Enterprise, a larger town approximately 7 miles away, offers a wider variety of stores and restaurants, ensuring you have everything you need within a reasonable distance. This blend of accessibility and a relaxed setting makes Camp Rucker RV Park a practical choice for a diverse range of RVers.

Camp Rucker RV Park focuses on providing essential services to ensure a comfortable stay for its guests. While not an overflowing resort, the park prides itself on offering the fundamentals that RVers need for a hassle-free experience.

  • Laundry Room: A clean and affordable laundry facility is available on-site. This amenity is highly valued by guests, especially those on longer trips, as it provides a convenient way to keep up with essential chores without having to leave the park. The availability of clean and well-maintained laundry machines is often a deciding factor for many RVers when choosing a park for an extended stay.

  • Level Sites: Many sites within the park are noted to be relatively level, which is a significant convenience for RVers. Achieving a level setup is crucial for the proper functioning of RV appliances and overall comfort, and Camp Rucker RV Park generally makes this process easier for its guests.

  • Full Hookups (Generally Available): While not explicitly detailed in all reviews, the nature of an RV park suggests that full hookups (electric, water, sewer) are generally available at the sites. One review did mention an uphill sewer connection, which is a detail to be aware of, but the provision of sewer hookups is a standard expectation and generally available for guest convenience.

Camp Rucker RV Park, while a small and straightforward park, offers several features and highlights that contribute to a pleasant and practical RV experience for those traveling through or staying in the Daleville area.

  • Abundant Trees and Natural Setting: One of the most frequently mentioned positive aspects of the park is the presence of numerous trees. This provides much-appreciated shade, especially during the warmer Alabama months, and contributes to a more natural and appealing atmosphere within the park. The greenery offers a sense of tranquility and a break from the open road.

  • Friendly and Welcoming Community: A recurring theme in guest reviews is the friendly nature of fellow RVers at the park. Many visitors have highlighted the welcoming and amiable atmosphere created by other campers, making it a comfortable place to stay and potentially connect with like-minded travelers. This sense of community can significantly enhance the overall experience.

  • Generous Camp Spot Space: Guests have noted that there is ample room for camp spots within the park. This generous spacing allows for more privacy and comfort compared to some RV parks where sites can feel cramped. Having sufficient space for your RV and outdoor setup is a definite plus.

  • Proximity to Local Attractions: Beyond the park itself, its location offers easy access to local entertainment. One reviewer specifically mentioned enjoying a trip to a bowling alley in town that was "super inexpensive" and a "great place." This indicates that while the park focuses on RV amenities, there are enjoyable activities within a short drive.

  • Safe and Secure Environment: For many travelers, safety is a top priority. Reviews indicate that Camp Rucker RV Park is perceived as a safe place to stay. This peace of mind is invaluable, especially for those traveling with families or on long journeys.

Currently, specific promotions or special offers for Camp Rucker RV Park are not publicly detailed in the provided information. It is always recommended to contact the park directly to inquire about any current rates, potential discounts for extended stays, or seasonal promotions they might be offering. While one review mentioned a quoted price of $45 a few months prior to a $50 charge upon arrival, this slight variation is not uncommon and the rates are generally considered reasonable. Always confirm the current pricing when making your reservation or upon arrival to ensure transparency. This small park was alright. Lots of trees, which is always nice, but the roads are bad. Lots of full timers, which is fine. It's all near an army aviation base, so there was a lot of helicopter noise, especially in the morning. The site was pretty level. However, the sewer was uphill so hard to dump the tanks. We did go into town and went bowling, which was a great place and super inexpensive. We were quoted $45 a few months ago, but we're charged $50 when we got here, which wasn't a huge deal. Overall, nothing special about the park but it was a safe place to stay for 2 nights on our way to Florida.

Well, this was our second stop on our cross country trip. As for the park, all of the fellow RVers were very nice and friendly, lots of room for camp spot. Only on site amenities was laundry room, which was clean and affordable. Shopping was 7 miles away in enterprise, don't waste your time at Bojangles, what a joke! The helicopter airport becomes white noise after a while, lol. I would recommend this RV park.

We stayed from March until June 2023 and had a wonderful time. This park is quiet and in close proximity to both base, food, gas and laundry services with full hookups. The owner was so kind and even made it a point to say hello and introduce himself. The campsites have enough room for children to play and you don't feel like you're on top of eachother. The grass is maintained regularly and there is a dumpster on site. I highly recommend this location to anyone here for a temporary or long stay!
