This article will provide a clear and informative overview of Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground, drawing on recent customer feedback to help you decide if it's the right fit for your next Florida camping experience.
Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground is often described as a "nice quiet little RV park" with "lots of trees and very shady" spots. While it may not offer all the bells and whistles of a luxury resort, it provides the essential amenities for a comfortable stay at a competitive price point. It’s particularly noted for its peaceful environment and the unique perk of a paddle boat available for campers to use on the spring-fed lake. If you're a local Floridian or a visitor traveling through the Panhandle, and your priorities are a calm setting, full hookups, and a low cost, Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground might just be the hidden gem you're looking for.
---Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground is conveniently located at **4312 Coachman Rd, Milton, FL 32583, USA**. Milton is a charming city situated in the Florida Panhandle, east of Pensacola. This region is known for its beautiful natural areas, including the Blackwater River State Forest, and offers a more relaxed pace compared to some of Florida's bustling coastal tourist hubs.
For Floridians and out-of-state visitors alike, Milton is easily accessible via major highways, including Interstate 10, which runs east-west across the Panhandle. Coachman Road provides direct access to the park, making it relatively simple to navigate to your destination even with a larger RV. The park's setting, away from the immediate hustle and bustle, contributes to its quiet atmosphere, as noted by past guests. Its location also offers a good base for exploring the natural beauty of Northwest Florida, including nearby rivers, forests, and the Gulf Coast beaches, which are typically within a reasonable driving distance.
---Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground focuses on providing the core necessities for RVers, making it a functional and cost-effective choice. Based on customer reviews, here are the key services you can expect:
It is important to note what is explicitly mentioned as *not* being offered, to set clear expectations: there are **no showers or Wi-Fi** services directly at the campground. This means guests should be prepared to be self-contained for bathing or utilize nearby public facilities if needed, and rely on their own mobile data for internet access. This streamlined approach to services helps keep the costs down for campers.
---Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground, while basic in some amenities, offers several distinctive features and highlights that appeal to its particular niche of RVers:
A notable point of caution, highlighted by a reviewer, is to "watch out for ants, they are all over the place!" While common in Florida's climate, it's a practical tip for campers to be prepared with appropriate measures to protect their RV and belongings.
---Based on the provided customer reviews and general public data, there is no explicit mention of specific promotions, discounts, or special offers at Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground. The park's primary appeal appears to be its inherently "cheap" or affordable cost for its basic services and pleasant environment.
However, RV parks often have varying rates for different lengths of stay (daily, weekly, monthly), with longer stays typically offering a more cost-effective per-night rate. Given the observation that many RVs appeared to be "living there," it's highly probable that competitive monthly rates are a key part of their pricing structure, making it attractive for extended stays. For the most accurate and current information on pricing and any potential deals for long-term commitments, it is always best to directly contact Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground.
---If you're considering a stay at Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground and want to inquire about availability, rates, or specific site details, here's how you can reach them:
Calling ahead is highly recommended to confirm current pricing, ensure a spot is available, and get any specific information you might need regarding their policies, especially considering the lack of on-site showers or Wi-Fi.
---For Floridians seeking an RV park that offers a genuine escape without breaking the bank, Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground in Milton stands out as a highly suitable option, especially if your travel priorities align with its unique offerings. Its appeal to local users stems from several key aspects that resonate with the typical Florida RVer.
Firstly, the paramount factor is its **affordability**. In a state where many RV resorts can come with a hefty price tag, Cedar Lakes offers a "cheap" alternative while still providing essential full hookups (power, water, sewer). This makes it an ideal choice for budget-conscious Floridians, snowbirds looking for an economical winter haven, or those needing a long-term base without excessive costs. The fact that many RVs are seemingly "living there" reinforces its suitability for extended, value-oriented stays.
Secondly, the park's **peaceful and shady environment** is a significant draw. Florida's intense sunshine makes ample tree cover a prized commodity, offering natural cooling and a more comfortable outdoor experience. The consistent description as a "nice quiet little RV park" caters to Floridians seeking genuine relaxation and a break from the hustle and bustle, whether it's a weekend getaway or a more permanent retreat.
Finally, the unique and free amenity of a **paddle boat on the spring-fed lake** adds a charming recreational element that is often overlooked in higher-priced parks. This simple pleasure allows locals to enjoy the natural beauty of the area directly from the campground, enhancing the overall experience. While it lacks showers and Wi-Fi, many Floridian RVers are self-sufficient in their rigs or prefer to disconnect, making these omissions minor for those prioritizing tranquility and cost-effectiveness. For Floridians who value a serene, shady, budget-friendly spot with fundamental services and a touch of unique local charm, Cedar Lakes RV Park & Campground in Milton offers a compelling choice for their next RV adventure.

Nice campground! We were the only RV that wasn't living there. The cost is cheap! Just keep in mind that you get a spot with power, fresh water and sewer. There are no showers or WiFi. Also, watch out for ants, they are all over the place!
Nov 10, 2024 · Russell GlissmannNice quiet little RV park. Lots of trees and very shady. We stayed one night and enjoyed it. There's a little paddle boat on the island free to campers to take around the spring.
Oct 01, 2023 · CG3Only had one night but was great! Fully immersed in nature and Tim is super nice… we will go back for sure!
Nov 12, 2023 · Vanessa BIf you like quite simple country living this is the place to be. We'll kept rv site, lots of room and walking paths, trees, water springs. Internet connection is not the best but who needs it if you can enjoy sound of nature and serene atmosphere. Tim - owner is very friendly and does good job keeping it neat and improving his park. Highly recommend it
Apr 16, 2024 · Gina J.Everytime I come into the area, I check Cedar Lakes FIRST to see about availability. I'm not looking for a resort with a laundry list of amenities, but rather the peace and quiet this campground provides. Sites are level and pull-thru. Easy in and out. I love walking around the mostly undeveloped property. Lots of wildlife too. The owner is meticulous about keeping the campground maintained. I'll be back!
