Customer Reviews
My family has been in this location 50 years. A quite, uncomercialized place to live with access to the Little Manatee river, nearby shopping and central location as far as medical needs. Truly a gem. 2023 February update: Park is looking good after having suffered some damage due to last years hurricane. It's good to see cameras around too as added security. The new boat ramp is a vast improvement and the mangrove trimming around the docks looks great! Always good things going on here 😉 May 2023. As nice as ever! Sept 2023. Looking just fine after the latest hurricane 😀 June 2024: New park managers are doing an awesome job. Park looks great 👍🏻
Seems like a nice place. But beware of any homes being sold by Mobile homes of Florida lli. And Sunshine Mobile Homes The realtor Stephen muench stole my $2500.00 deposit. .He refused to allow me back on the property for a month when I told him I was going to have the home inspected. Even refused my home inspector on the property. When I told Stephen I wasn't buying he stole my deposit.. Realtor sent me two threatening letters and both letters had the same return address which shows a PO Box.
Great place to take your boat out
My grandparents live there and it is nice. The houses are beautiful. There is a pool, a clubhouse full house activities seasonally, a rec center to exercise, do puzzles, read books, use a computer (if needed), a mini dog park fenced in so they can run around, and a little market called Handy's that you can ride your golf cart to get some snacks, drinks, etc... (Remember that you can only buy a lot if you are 55 and up. But when you are 55 and older you will have an amazing time to relax and live life the way you should.
Grandparents lived here in the 90's to 2002. Spent alot of my childhood there with them and such good, beautiful memories. Place was always clean, especially the pool where I always wanted to be! I've lost both my grandparents, I'm from Massachusetts but was visiting friends in Florida in Palmetto and took the short drive there just to be able to see it again. I sure miss it.
