We moved here 1/1/2022. We really like it here! It's quiet, both day n night. Neighbors are friendly enuff. Most folks stick 2 themselves. Rents totally affordable. Just wish we could put up some type of privacy fencing. Don't like feeling like I'm on display in my backyard. Close 2 everything I need incl. my work!! Feel lucky 2 have a nice size yard...most don't! Some r very small! Also glad we have our own washer n dryer as there isn't any laundry facility. Some parks have pools...we do not. Sure would b nice though! We just go 2 Apollo beach...only a 20 min drive away! It's nice 2 have a place 2 call home..some aren't as lucky. Homes are spaced out nicely, not smack up against 1 another. All off street parking...I love that!! The famous seafood place, The Fish House is basically part of the park. You can walk there in like 3 mins!! Only open Wed thru Sat but they do a great business. Best catfish sandwich I've ever had.. 4 real! Only 1 or 2 homes 4 sale. Ppl stay! There's a sister park that isn't far...it's called Little Manatee. Also very nice. They have more snowbirds. Not many homes 4 sale there but u may get lucky! If ur 55 or older, looking 4 affordable housing,I'd make a phone call or take a drive n see what's available. Quite hard 2 find affordable housing in a State that's growing by leaps n bounds! Oohhh...n we have thee best Governor☺
