We weren't sure what to expect. We have never visited a KOA. We did the cabinet, it was small, but for camping out was the perfect size. It was clean, the site was surrounded by trees and brush, so it felt secluded. The check in a great. Everyone that was working that helped us was very friendly. All of the bathrooms were very clean and seemed newly renovated. It would be nice if there were another bathroom by the campsites, instead of just one stall. It seemed We had to wait often to brush our teeth or relieve ourselves. It was a clean and nice bathroom.

What a wonderful place to stay. The amenities were awesome, with a great little store for essentials, coffee made by the lady of the park, a dog park covenantly away from everything, a children's play area, showers accessible all night long, a pool and spa cleaned and warm!! My cabin was clean and cool, and since I arrived on foot randomly without linens, they provided some for me. Just be respectful because this is not normal and isn't an amenity they provide, but for those randomly coming into the area, what a great service! They really seem to take care of their location. Family owned and operated. What a great place to give your money to, rather than a cooperate location not giving back to the community.

Wonderful campsite with many amenities! The grounds are well kept, the noise was minimal, and the spaces are good size. I had no issue parking my trailer. The bathrooms, pool, and hot tub were all very clean during my stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I think the location is great too. Very close to food and shops if you need something to do and not too far from many state parks. I hope to be back soon!

Did not like that dog run had an age limit. My puppy just 4 months old was barley old enough for their rules. The dog run also felt hidden and unwelcoming with location. Did not feel very pet welcoming being so fare away from the camping section. Nice little run just wish it was closer. Other KOAs I have been to have it located as you enter the camp ground. Very tight corners hard to get camper in. Bathrooms closed at check out time so had to walk down the hill to bathroom to wash hands. Campers seemed to be smashed in to tight. Would have been nice to have a little more room. Our sight was right on a corner. The fire pit was pretty much on edge road and could only have chairs on one side. Beware of loud train that goes through during the night several times. Close to duluth and quite Campground. Nice clean showers and friendly staff.

This was a beautiful, well kept campground, sparkling clean facilities, hot tub and pool were very clean too. I stayed there a week, and Bill and his staff were some of the most friendly and accommodating folks I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to be helpful and be sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. People who complain about weather and mosquitoes need to realize these are not within the control of the staff. I will be back next year!
