Accessibility to the park, especially for "big rigs," is a point of note. While reviews mention that "Streets aren't ideal for big rigs" and "Getting here is a bit of an adventure, and leaving is as well," it's confirmed that even a "40' coach/toad" can "make it work." This suggests that while careful navigation is required, the park is indeed accessible for larger RVs. Comanche City Park RV Parking provides fundamental services tailored to RVers, making it a highly functional stop:
- Electric Hookups: Each site offers a combination of 30 amp and/or 50 amp electrical connections. Specific sites cater to different needs: sites 1-4 often have 50a, while others may only have 30a.
- Water Spigots: Each site is equipped with multiple water spigots (up to 4 per site), ensuring easy access to potable water for all rigs.
- Sewer Hookups: Sites 1-4 are noted to have sewer connections, a significant convenience for longer stays or for those needing to dump tanks. A general sanitation dump station is also available for those on sites without individual sewer.
- Designated RV Sites: There are approximately 8 designated RV sites, with flexibility for "many rigs depending on how people park," indicating ample space and adaptable parking.

Reviews suggest a general rule of "1 night free," making it an exceptional value for travelers needing a convenient stopover. For longer stays, there is a fee, with one recent report indicating a dump fee of $12.50 and an overnight camping fee of $35. However, there has been some confusion reported regarding the payment process, with some needing to call the city to figure out how to pay. This suggests that while payment is required for extended stays, the process might not always be straightforward or clearly signposted on site.
It's important for prospective campers to verify the current fee structure and payment methods directly with the City of Comanche or by calling the provided phone number. While specific seasonal discounts are not advertised, the inherent low cost, especially for the initial night, serves as a significant ongoing "special offer" for RVers seeking value in Central Texas.

Customer Reviews
Incredible that the town provides this campground. If you need 50a, and want sewer, site 2 is best. There are about 8 sites with room for many rigs depending on how people park. Each site has 4 water spigots, 3-4 30a/0-1 50a, and sites 1-4 have sewer. If you only need 30a, site 1 looks best. If you dont need sewer, site 6 is nice, and site 8 is pull through. Getting here is a bit of an adventure, and leaving is as well. Streets aren't ideal for big rigs, though i made it work with 40' coach/toad. Say hi to the resident deer herd.
