Customer Reviews
We stayed at this RV park for 3 nights. We had a very good time. The location we chose was very nice with supplied water and electricity (50amp). The parking for RV was level, it was very clean, and we had a great view of the lake plus easy access. The only reason for the 4 star vurses 5 was because the restroom/shower facilities do not appear to be taken care of. They have no air inside, so it was extremely hot. They were full of bugs inside, and nobody wants to shower or use the restroom with bugs landing and crawling on you. Two of the restrooms had black widow spiders attached to them, which is not safe. I think weekly or biweekly pest control treatments would solve most of the problems. I also do revommend updating the toilets.
Nice COE park. We stayed at full hookup site off water, but still managed to book a site with some water views. This COE park does NOT require two night bookings on weekends!! That was new for us... ( May be true seasonally,, but didn't look that way on rec gov) We had a nice large site, but the gravel was all but gone. Pulled in on a rainy day ... What a mess!!! Park has nice pier just for fishing, that ev en has benches, and a boat ramp with courtesy dock. If you choose the right waterfront site, you can keep your boat on the shoreline, behind your camping spot ( no sewer connection at waterfront sites) . We stayed in early November, in a 31 foot 5th wheel; whole sections of the Park were closed for the slow season.
Stayed during January, and it was a decent stay. Got very snowy/icy, but the showers still remained hot and some of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen at a campground lately. No complaints really, just not much to do, and the sites have no privacy.
Beautiful sunset! All of a sudden my little Honey just stopped and looked at the sunset and had me take a minute to enjoy as well! Such a wonderful place! We love this campground and an awesome golf course next door!
We recently stayed at this park for 4 nights. Love this place. Have great hosts. However, unfortunately they had a new volunteer staying in the blocked off section. It is ok to walk there but cant take a car in. The volunteer, Holly stalked us and followed us at 2 different occasions. One time she said that she had dogs at her place who might attack us and the second time, she yelled that she had checked with the office and no one was allowed back there. When we checked with the office, they told us it is ok to walk there. She is a very bad sour note in an otherwise lovely setting with great people around. I hope she wont be there next time we go there.
