I've lived here for many years and have had a great experience overall. Recently, I had an unexpected plumbing issue π΅βπ« a water leak that I hadn't even noticed. Thankfully, the new manager reached out to warn me about my water usage suddenly spiking, which helped us catch the problem (a broken pipe) before it got worse. The maintenance man was also extremely helpful, doing everything he could to assist while we worked on getting the repair taken care of. Management here is proactive and understanding and they truly work with you if you're open and honest about any issues. I appreciate their help and the way they handle situations with care!
Over priced dump. Lot rent is jumping close to 700 a mth. Stray cats everywhere, police always in there looking for someone. Traffic is way to fast! I put speed bumps out because kids always play outside during summer. They made me remove them. I've had to report several csc offenders in the park. Any trailer park in Cadillac is better then this one. It used to be nice, but not no more. Corporate greed for the bare min!!! Also can't have spectrum internet unless you do the cable package with it. I don't watch TV but have to pay for it so I can have the wifi.
Country acres in cadillac Michigan is on one for sure! My elderly disabled mother lives there and they replaced her water pump in March of 2023. Instead of properly installing the pump they laid foam on the ground and set the pump on it on my mom's RENTED land. So of course when it got cold the pump and lines froze and broke. My mom has been without running water for almost a week and was billed for the entire parks water line breaking as her house is first in line for water. Country acres is REFUSING to fix her water. Had assaulted my mom shutting her face in a door when she asked why. And has stated to me that she has to pay for pump repairs and the water line to be replaced ON THEIR PROPERTY THEY OWN AND SHE RENTS. She's on a fixed income and of course can't afford these repairs. There reasoning is she's responsible for anything above the ground (even though they placed it there) and she has to follow alllllll these rules about how she can decorate her lot and how tall the grass can be, if the leaves are raked fast enough alll of these above ground rules bc it's their land but her responsibilities. This makes no sense to me. Now maybe upkeep of the land okay but REPAIRS TO THEIR PROPERTY SHES PAYING FOR AND RENTING FROM THEM. No. Just no. Help me get the word out about how Country acres treats elderly and disabled people. That's their bread in butter along with single moms and this is how they're treated there? And Jamie Merrit is the one refusing even provide clarification for why she would be responsible for their lots amenities. Let's make them famous! All people deserve running, clean water. Crazy the city alone is okay treating their residents like this.
Rent goes up every year and it's never justified other than corporate greed!!! They raise our rent and can't even buy sand or salt for the roads, roads are completely crap. They sat someone out back in December and never finished cleaning up. This place is just turning into a complete dump.
This neighborhood is blighted by abusive, negative parents with alcohol and substance abuse, and unfortunately, their children have suffered from that behavior, resulting in disrespectful malicious behavior that negatively affects their neighborhood.
