The consistent feedback from visitors highlights what makes this campground so special: it is "clean and relatively quiet," with facilities that are "immaculately maintained." This dedication to quality is a hallmark of the owners, who run a family-oriented business focused on ensuring there is "lots of stuff on site for them to enjoy!" While a large portion of the property is utilized by seasonal campers who form a friendly, close-knit community, the campground ensures plenty of nice, secluded sites remain available for those seeking a shorter stay amidst the trees.

One of the best campgrounds I've ever visited. It's especially great if you've got kids with you -- lots of stuff on site for them to enjoy! Facilities were all immaculately maintained, staff was very friendly, and the homemade maple glazed donuts are worth the price of admission alone. Do yourself a favor a visit, you won't be disappointed.
Sep 03, 2025 · Robert McCormackClean and relatively quiet. A well stocked camp store with a small arcade, DVD rentals, and a basic concessions counter. Most sites appear to be seasonal. We found a nice secluded site in the trees for our 5 day stay. It's gated and if you plan to return after the store hours, you'll need to put a $10 deposit on a gate pass. Visitors to your site have to pay entry, although the pool seems accessible... My only complaint is that she showers in our corner were COIN OPERATED which I haven't encountered at any other camp ground. That's not really mentioned anywhere on the website. The lady at the camp store is a bit brisk. Not unfriendly, but doesn't do chit chat or explain the exact way she wants your car pass more than once so pay attention. Lol
Aug 11, 2025 · L SneddonOverall the grounds are nice. Our site was nice and shaded which helped because the weather was very warm. New playground equipment, pool, store, etc. but the place was full and the bathrooms never got cleaned. I tried both (yes, only two bathrooms in the whole place) for showers and both times I ran out of hot water (25¢ for six mins) and both times I was standing in ankle deep water because they didn’t drain properly. Pool had lots of sand in it. We didn’t go in so I’m not sure if it got cleaned but I doubt it did. There are a few community areas (covered pavilion and fire pit) but no activities planned while we were there. I had a cinnamon roll but didn’t think it was homemade or special. I won’t be back.
Aug 18, 2025 · Amanda CIt is a nice campground, with a few cabins to rent. Mostly for RV's and tent camping. Nice pool and playground for the kids. Mini store on site. Some parts of the place are a bit dated and need work. But for the most part, great place to spend a weekend. Plenty to do all around the area. Or simple sit and relax.
