Country Escape RV Park About
For Texans seeking a tranquil and family-friendly escape for their RV adventures, finding the right park can make all the difference. In the peaceful community of Boling-Iago, nestled in Wharton County, you'll find Country Escape RV Park. This park aims to offer a quiet retreat where residents can enjoy the calm of rural Texas life while still having access to essential amenities. Country Escape RV Park is designed for those who appreciate a relaxed environment and a sense of community among fellow RV enthusiasts.
Country Escape RV Park presents itself as a serene destination, striving to accommodate the needs of its residents and fostering a family-like atmosphere. While it's important to consider all perspectives, many Texans value a peaceful setting and a responsive management team when choosing their RV home. Let's explore what Country Escape RV Park offers for those looking to settle in for a while or simply enjoy a quiet stop in the Lone Star State.
Country Escape RV Park is conveniently located at 11715 FM442, Boling-Iago, TX 77420, USA. This address places it within the charming Boling-Iago area, a community situated in Wharton County. Boling-Iago offers a quieter, more rural setting compared to bustling urban centers, making it an ideal spot for those seeking peace and a break from the fast pace of city life.
The park's location on FM 442 provides straightforward access for RVers, allowing for easy navigation to and from the property. Boling-Iago, while small, is part of the larger Wharton County area, which means residents have access to local conveniences and services within a reasonable driving distance. Nearby towns like Wharton, El Campo, and even Rosenberg and Houston (though further) offer a wider range of shopping, dining, medical facilities, and entertainment options. Wharton, for example, is home to the Wharton County Junior College and several historical sites. The rural setting of Boling-Iago means less traffic and noise, contributing to the "country escape" atmosphere that the park's name suggests. For Texans looking for a permanent or extended RV stay away from the urban clamor, this location offers a balance of tranquility and accessibility to necessary amenities.
While specific, exhaustive lists of services are not always publicly detailed for every RV park, the nature of Country Escape RV Park, aiming to be a "quiet place for the family," suggests a focus on essential services that ensure a comfortable long-term stay. Based on standard RV park offerings, and taking into account the nuances of customer feedback (both positive and negative), we can infer the following:
- RV Lot Rentals: The primary service, providing designated spaces for RVs with necessary hookups.
- Basic Utilities: It is standard for RV parks to offer water, sewer, and electrical hookups (likely 30 and 50 amp services) at each site. The negative review regarding water shut-offs without warning highlights that water service is a key utility provided, albeit with potential issues experienced by one tenant.
- On-Site Management: Positive reviews praise "courteous, professional management" and mention that "the owners strives to accommodate any needs or concerns." This indicates a management presence that aims to be responsive to residents' needs, though the negative review suggests inconsistencies depending on the type of rental (house vs. RV lot) and potentially a change in management approach over time.
- Community Atmosphere: While not a tangible "service," the comment "everyone treats each other like family" points to efforts or a natural development of a friendly and communal environment within the park.
The unique aspects and perceived strengths of Country Escape RV Park, as gathered from customer insights, include:
- Quiet and Peaceful Environment: Consistently highlighted by positive reviews as a "Great quiet place for the family." This is a significant draw for those seeking to escape noise and enjoy a serene setting.
- Family-Like Community: The sentiment that "everyone treats each other like family" indicates a warm and welcoming atmosphere among residents, which is a highly desirable feature for long-term stays.
- Management’s Strive to Accommodate: Positive feedback suggests that the management (or at least, a previous management style) actively works to address needs and concerns, aiming for resident satisfaction. This commitment to accommodation is a key highlight for many.
- Long-Term Residency: The mention of a three-year stay ("Been here for 3 years") strongly suggests that the park is well-suited for long-term residents, fostering a stable community.
- Rural Charm: The location in Boling-Iago inherently offers the appeal of country living, with open spaces and a slower pace, which is a major draw for those looking to "escape" urban environments.
It is important to note that one extensive negative review detailed significant issues, particularly concerning the rental house on the property and responsiveness to maintenance requests, citing a decline after a change in management and a preference for text communication for requests. While this review contrasts sharply with the positive ones, it's crucial for prospective residents to consider all feedback and perhaps clarify current management practices regarding maintenance and communication, especially if considering a long-term stay or a rental unit on the property beyond an RV lot.
Specific promotional offers for Country Escape RV Park are not publicly detailed in the provided information. As is often the case with privately owned RV parks, particularly those in more rural settings that cater to long-term stays, special offers may not be widely advertised online. It is highly recommended that prospective residents contact Country Escape RV Park directly to inquire about any current availability, long-term rates, or special discounts that might be available. Often, parks offer reduced rates for monthly or extended commitments compared to daily or weekly stays. A direct phone call is the best way to get the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing and any potential deals.

The park’s primary appeal lies in its "quiet" and "family" oriented atmosphere, creating a peaceful environment where residents can truly feel at home. While it is important for any potential resident to conduct their own due diligence, particularly regarding maintenance and communication practices (especially if considering renting the house on the property or long-term stays that might require more frequent interaction with management), the consistent positive feedback about the park's quiet nature and family-like feel remains a strong draw. For local Texans desiring a serene base for their RV, whether for an extended period or just a peaceful retreat, Country Escape RV Park presents itself as a suitable choice where they can enjoy the calmness of country living while still being within reasonable reach of necessary amenities.
Customer Reviews
If I could give zero stars, I truly would. I rented the house located on the property, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite paying significantly more than the lot rent charged to trailer tenants, maintenance issues were consistently ignored. The house was in poor condition, and very little—if anything—was ever repaired. After a hurricane, multiple trees fell on the property. I offered to help clean up the damage in exchange for a small rent deduction, which seemed fair given the extensive debris (a job that would likely cost over $10,000 professionally). I was told, “Everyone else is doing it for free—why would I pay you?” Months later, the fallen trees were still untouched. During the winter, the water was repeatedly shut off without warning. On several occasions, my children were left in the shower mid-bath, covered in soap. Things were somewhat better under the old management, but after they left, the situation worsened significantly. I moved out after fulfilling my contract and was told I could get my deposit back if I paid April’s rent—despite ongoing maintenance issues that, under state and federal law, justify a tenant withholding rent or terminating a lease. I made several repair requests by phone, only to be told during move-out that all such requests must be made via text. When I informed her that a friend of mine, who is an attorney, would be assisting me, she mentioned she'd “been to court many times with tenants and always wins.” The final communication included a claim that I was bullying her because she is a woman—which I found inappropriate and deflective. My advice: Do not rent the house or a lot on this property. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing business here.
Great quite place for the family. Courteous, profesional management. The owners strives to accommodate any needs or concerns. Been here for 3 years and everyone treats each other like family
Absolutley love this place. Many trees for shade, great pool and clubhouse during those hot days. Days and nights are quiet and peaceful. We searched the area southwest of Houston for a RV park that was to our liking and we stopped looking when we found this spot. We love the outdoors, state park feel, and convenient location between Houston and the coast. 11/05/20 UPDATE!!! Skynet WIFI is up and running wonderfully. Greatest addition to the park. Hot tub fully operational, come out and enjoy.
We have been here for a while now and it is one of the many that we have been to, but I have to say it’s pretty close to one of the best. The manager takes pride in her work to keep the park looking like home, always making sure it’s presentable, adding an extra touch on her own to just help us feel like we are in our own back yard!! She is very easy to work with and if you have any issues at all, she’s always right there to help! All the amenities you need-hot tub, pool, laundry facility and clubhouse with adding extras including bathrooms and showers and activities for the littles 😊 it’s just like it’s own little community! To add to that, it is gated that way not just anyone can come in! Just feels like home for us! Very family oriented and pet friendly!
Thank you country escape for a clean rv park. I’ve only been here a month and in that time I have met a lot of friendly people that makes you feel like family. The club house is awesome can’t wait to get in the swimming pool and hot tub it’s always so clean looking and the park manager Shanna is beyond awesome. She’s very friendly outspoken and it’s nice to know that there is a manager on site when needed. Her son is always willing to give out a helping hand. It nice to live in a nice country loving environment with lots of things to do on site rather it be from games to craft night to playing with the goats to a nice clean club house with open showers and clean restrooms. Thanks again Laura Johnson
