We drove a long distance to get to the campground and we loved it. The campground is spacious, clean and convenient. Camp lots are large, with a fireplace and grill, driveway for large campers, space for tents and whatnot and table with benches. Showers and restrooms were very clean with hot water. Firewood and ice are available upon request for a charge. There are hiking trails all around the campsites offerring breathtaking views on the lake and its shoreline. Autumn is very beautiful there. Abundance of birds of pray flying over the campground. I can't imagine what it looks like during summer. Mark Twain Museum is just a half-hour walk from the campsite. Great area for camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing and sightseeing!

Stayed here for 1 night while passing through. It’s a state park site so you can book online. Unfortunately we went in the off season so the online booking wasn’t working. Make sure you have cash/checks handy if you can’t book online. The couple staying at the camp couldn’t process a credit/debit card. Very friendly. Very kid friendly and a beautiful piece of land. The campground was clean and well taken care of. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was super helpful. The camp sites are clean. They also had a bunch of activities for the kids. Short drive from the beach. We will be going back.
