I truly enjoy the atmosphere, the campground and trail here. I am so glad that they didn’t completely remove the old trail. The campsites are available for all tents and campers and there is an open bathroom/shower. There are three playgrounds are available; one at the campsite and the other two before you enter the campsite. The butterfly playground is newly built and very cute! Tons of picnic tables are set up all around as well. It’s definitely a perfect place to wind down and get away from home!

Stayed 2 nights. Camp ground is laid out well. Bath house is clean. Showers had hot water. We road our bicycles to town on the bike path. Great infrastructure. Had lunch, visited the Blanden Art museum and bought a few groceries before riding back to the park.

Several locations to have a picnic as well as open space to throw a ball or frisbee around. You have to walk down a steep hill to get to the fishing areas, at least where we were at. It was a beautiful day there & not over crowded. Restroom facilities are on site as well as trash bins.
