Camping rates are set annually by the DNR and are generally consistent across state parks of a similar tier. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing for campsites and cabins, it is highly recommended to visit the official Iowa DNR website or use their online reservation system. These platforms will provide current rates for electric sites, non-electric sites, and cabin rentals, as well as information on any minimum stay requirements (e.g., 2-night minimum for cabins). Very quiet and clean campground. Very friendly host and DNR too. Was beautiful this time of the year. We rent camped for 2 night. Had such a good time and we will be comin back to stay. Both bathrooms were very clean and the shower water was the perfect temperature. Fire ring and picnic table at every site. Easy check in just stop at the check in area and follow directions. Lots to do in this area. Perfect area to camp and spend a few days. They also have 2 cabins there as well. FYI I have Verizon and absolutely no service at all…was so nice!!
Dec 21, 2024 · Liveoutdoors85This is probably my favorite campground. Its not huge so the crowds aren't too bad even when full. Most of the sites have a decent amount of space, a few are a little small. The ranger comes thru often which keeps some the troublemakers away and has always come around at quiet hours to remind you. Very nice and monitored. Also has a couple cabins to rent as well.
May 18, 2023 · Jason ClementsSuch a quaint little place with lots to explore. A little buggy, next time I'll probably bring coverage spray for the campsite.
Jun 04, 2025 · Jeri WendzelVisited in the end of May, the facility is nice and clean, the only problem is too many bugs and flies.
Jun 02, 2025 · 吳昕哲Good place for hiking and a nice small, almost private campground. If they had free wifi (or any reception really), walk-in primitive camping or marked trails, I'd give 5 stars.
