Great place to stay as a couple or family to reconnect and relax. It's quaint and quiet. The owners are polite and respond quickly to any question you have. While we visiting, our car battery died, then quickly came over to give us a jump so we could go to town to get a new one, to us they went above and beyond for us. The campsite offers various ways to camp, we chose the camper, while others coming through chose the glamping tent. We loved sitting and listening to the creek, playing cards, and looking at the mountains and stars. We loved staying here and will return.
Jul 04, 2024 · Tim EhlersOur family of seven had such a fantastic experience on the property. We used Happy Camper, Rio Rustic and Del Linnea and were so thankful for all the amenities provided. The hosts communicated as desired. We couldn’t have asked for a better time right before the kiddos went back to school. We will be back again!
Aug 19, 2024 · Monica RiversJeff and Sheree were great hosts! We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a really great time. The tent was romantic and beautiful and it also had a great mattress. My husband really enjoyed fishing right outside our tent. 5+ stars highly recommend.
Sep 08, 2023 · My friend Ore The ShepherdThe lodging at Creekside Stayz was one of my most memorable vacations!! Sherry was the most excellent and phenomenal host. I can’t say enough to how welcome and accommodating she was!! The glamping tent I stayed in was so neat, Sherry really has put in a lot of thought!! The bed was extremely comfortable, pillows were great, tent was extremely clean even with it being a tent. It was cleaner than a lot of the other stays I’ve had that were in houses. The lights in the tent were SO cool. Such a neat experience and if I was an influencer or something, man that would’ve made for some awesome photos!! There were switches to all the lights and you could change the colors to all lights. There was a zip screen door and a zip tent door (the tent was more of a building, it was a very sturdy, thick material). I’d recommend keeping the screen part zipped up for the whole trip as there were like two stink bugs that got in, but that was my fault for leaving the screen door open. All the windows that line the tent (total of 10) zip/unzip with ease. Surprisingly, the tent stays extremely dark when all windows are zipped, so easy to sleep the morning away without the sun waking you. It probably got down in the high 40s at night during my stay, but with my hoodie and leggings, I was fine with the heater that was provided. The shower/sink are located on your deck right as you exit the tent to your left and there are two heaters in it also. All I needed was the smaller plug in heater by the sink to keep warm during my night time routine. The portapotty was located 40ish feet from the tent, super clean. Sherry had a bunch of coloring books and pencils in the room which I definitely got to enjoy as it rained the whole day I was there when I was supposed to be hiking. Less than a mile down the road was a fantastic pizza place-out in the middle of no where!! Met great people there! Also a small gas station with a diner across the street. The sound of the creek at night was soothing. Sherry was the type of host that could be as interactive as you can wanted, very welcoming but gave you distance to enjoy yourself. I came solo and spent the whole time isolated in the tent due to rain and man, I had a blast! Definitely a cool place to reflect. Short distance to Newport. Wifi was great. Recommend pulling up directions while on wifi before you leave, I ended up having to stop at a house and ask directions and they were super friendly. All in all, could not recommend this place more, specifically the tent I stayed in!
