Services Offered

Crooked Lake Campground and RV Park provides essential services and amenities designed to make your camping experience comfortable and enjoyable, whether you're staying for a weekend or an entire season. While detailed service lists can sometimes vary, the core offerings for an RV park and campground of this nature typically include:

  • RV Sites with Hookups: The campground offers sites equipped with electric hookups (commonly 30 and 50 amp service) and water connections. Availability of sewer hookups or a 'honey wagon' service for grey and black water disposal would typically be provided, though it's important to clarify directly with management regarding current practices given past feedback.
  • Tent Sites: For those who prefer a more traditional camping experience, tent sites are generally available, often with access to shared facilities.
  • Seasonal Camping Options: A major draw for many, Crooked Lake Campground caters to seasonal campers, allowing them to establish a long-term presence for the entire camping season. This fosters a strong sense of community among residents.
  • Restrooms and Showers: Access to communal bathhouses with restrooms and showers is a standard offering, providing necessary facilities for all campers. The cleanliness and maintenance of these facilities are crucial for a comfortable stay.
  • On-Site Management/Owner Presence: The presence of an owner or on-site management, as suggested by reviews (e.g., "owner Al is so helpful"), indicates a commitment to assisting campers with their needs and questions.
  • Lake Access: Direct access to Crooked Lake for fishing, boating, and enjoying the water is a primary service, often including areas for lake viewing.
  • Picnic Tables and Fire Rings: Most campsites are typically equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring, allowing campers to enjoy outdoor meals and traditional campfires.
  • Pet-Friendly Environment: Many campgrounds, especially those catering to seasonal guests, welcome pets, often with specific rules regarding leashes and waste disposal.

While the campground aims to provide a pleasant experience, as with any outdoor facility, it is always recommended to confirm specific services and any operational procedures directly with the management to ensure they align with your expectations, particularly concerning waste disposal and utility reliability.

Features / Highlights

Crooked Lake Campground and RV Park offers several appealing features and highlights that make it a suitable choice for campers in Michigan. These attributes contribute to a memorable and enjoyable outdoor experience:

Promotions or Special Offers

Specific, publicly advertised promotions or special offers for Crooked Lake Campground and RV Park are not widely available through general online searches. This is quite common for smaller, privately owned campgrounds, especially those with a strong focus on seasonal or long-term guests, where availability might be limited and relationships are built more directly.

However, it is typical for campgrounds of this nature to offer:

  • Seasonal Rate Discounts: Significant cost savings are often provided to campers who commit to a full seasonal stay compared to nightly or weekly rates. This incentivizes longer-term residency and helps foster a consistent community.
  • Early Booking Incentives: Sometimes, campgrounds may offer small discounts or preferred site selection for those who book their seasonal site well in advance of the upcoming season.
  • Referral Programs: Existing satisfied campers might receive a benefit for referring new seasonal guests, though this would typically be an internal program.

Given the nature of the campground and the positive feedback from a seasonal camper, the primary "promotion" is the value and experience offered by a long-term stay in a friendly, lakeside setting. For the most accurate and current information on seasonal pricing, short-term rates, availability, or any specific offers that may be running, it is highly recommended to contact Crooked Lake Campground and RV Park directly using the provided phone number. This is our first year as seasonal camper and we are not real experienced in tt camping but the owner Al is so helpful with anything we have questions about. Everyone weve met are so friendly. We have a view of the lake to watch the sunrise and it's beautiful! We are very happy at this campground.

Terrible people live there! They dump grey water right on the ground, so it constantly stinks. And electric problems all the time!

My wife is staying there for an extended time with work. The other campers, many of whom have permanent spots, have been friendly. The owner, Al, is friendly and accommodating. Gary seems to be the maintenance, and Jack of all trades guy, who has been super helpful. It's a beautiful spot and they seem to be working hard on upgrades to the infrastructure. I think we found a gem with this campground.

Very family friendly campground. I actually have only gone out to rent the boats for fishing ($20/day) but the sights, sounds and smells of the campers is fabulous! Reminds me of my childhood camping days. The owners live right on sight and are helpful and available.
