Customer Reviews
Camped here for a Bassmaster tournament in early May. Have stayed here before. Cleanest shower houses I have ever experienced at a state run campground! The young lady that cleaned the bathrooms was very kind. The volunteers that run the front gate also camp there and were readily available for any questions. Through the week, It was extremely calm and quiet. The weekends picked up but was still a very quiet stay. We stayed on the top row with the fishery behind us. It gave us more privacy as well as enjoying the sounds of the pools running. When not fishing for our tournament, we spent time below the damn walking the creek and trout fishing. Highly reccomend eating at Ollie's in Celina! Great campground! One of my top stays in Tennessee!
The campground was awesome ! Verry nice staff and amenities were spotless. Would love to complain just so no one else finds this gem ,but truly can't
No rooms or cabins in this campground but it was quiet, picturesque, and well kept. The bathhouse were clean although somewhat outdated.
This a very nice campground with plenty of room for larger rigs on most sites. The bathhouses are a little out dated but functional. The setting on the river is nice. There was often noise from the fish hatchery pumps but I don't know if this is common since the hatchery water supply is gravity. It would be great to see more walking trails.
The camp ground was very well kept and clean. It Rained a lot while we stayed so if you have dogs just be ready for some standing water puddles ours loved it. LoL. Overall I bet we will be back. We watched the long line of RVs leave on Sunday waiting for the dump station. I don't recommend leaving on Sunday if you can help it. Some good trails close by. And tons of water options. Our dogs enjoyed swimming at the boat dock while the dam was not generating.
