Promotions or Special Offers

As a campground managed by the Army Corps of Engineers and part of the Arkansas State Parks system (specifically DeGray Lake Resort State Park), Edgewood Campground primarily offers value through its well-maintained facilities, prime location, and a comprehensive range of amenities at competitive rates rather than frequent, short-term promotional discounts. However, there are typically standard pricing structures and potential ways to save that are beneficial for locals:

  • Arkansas State Park Discounts: As part of the state park system, eligible Arkansas residents may qualify for discounts on camping fees. This often includes seniors (62 and older) receiving a 50% discount Sunday through Thursday and 25% on weekends, and U.S. citizens with 100% total and permanent disability receiving a 50% discount year-round. It's always best to confirm these specific discounts and eligibility with the park directly.
  • Competitive Daily Rates: Daily rates for sites at Edgewood Campground generally range from $14.00 to $24.00 for electric-only or electric/water sites, with full hookup sites potentially being slightly higher. These rates are considered very reasonable for the quality of the campground and its access to DeGray Lake.
  • Reservations Recommended: While not a promotion, securing your site in advance, especially during peak seasons (March to October, and holiday weekends), ensures you get a spot at this popular campground. Reservations can typically be made up to 6 months in advance online or by phone.
  • America the Beautiful Pass (Federal Parks): While Edgewood is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers, which falls under federal agencies, holders of relevant federal recreation passes (like the America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass) may be eligible for discounts on camping fees. It is crucial to verify this directly with the campground or the Corps of Engineers before booking.

Always contact Edgewood Campground directly or check the official Arkansas State Parks website for the most current pricing, reservation policies, and any applicable discounts for your specific travel dates.

Very nice and quite, peaceful campground. Showers are kinda small and showerhead is for short people, but since I have a shower in camper I'll use it was just trying to cut down on dump trips, the roads really do need some attention to them alot of pot holes and I guess I visited the bathrooms just after they cleaned them but they haven't been back since so I guess its just once a week cleaning.

Nice place. Some things could be updated be we enjoyed our stay. For new comers just be aware the drive in seems sketchy for bigger campers. Some low tree limbs and narrow roads. We pull a 40ft fifth wheel and made it no problem. Electric and water. Dump station at the gate. We would return.
