Customer Reviews
The Fries New River RV Park was such a lovely find! It was right across the street from the riverfront park and trail access. We really enjoyed biking and kayaking. The RV park is extremely clean, quiet, and has spacious lots. We had so much space on site 18, which was up the hill more secluded from the waterfront sites. Tom was so easy going, friendly, and responsive. We reserved another stay in the fall before we even left. I can’t wait to come back!
We stay at a lot of RV parks. This one is easily one of the cleanest and most meticulously maintained parks we’ve ever been in. The sites are large and private. Everything is well groomed, and the road and sites are level. Booking was a little bit different, as the owner just had us use Zelle to send payment and then text message confirmation, but that was probably also the most efficient check in process I’ve seen yet. This place is a hidden gem. There is absolutely nothing to do in that town or any of the towns around it, except maybe antique Hunt. That said, if you need a few days to just unplug and sit in serene surroundings and relax, this is your place.
If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature/creation this is your place! The sites are all beautiful (we stayed by the stream and enjoyed the sound of water the entired time). The greenway is across the street is absolutely beautiful. Bike riding is a must. The campsites were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate RVs of all sizes. The full hookups, level sites, and easy access to amenities made setting up a breeze. Tom was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we all had a pleasant experience. Whether offering local recommendations or assisting with any needs, his dedication to customer satisfaction was evident. We stayed by the stream and got to enjoy it's sound the entire time. The Greenways across the street was awesome - a must for bike riding, especially e-bikes since it's over 50 miles along the beautiful New River. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the pet-friendly environment was a big plus for our furry travel companion. Overall, I highly recommend this amazing campground to anyone looking for a fantastic RV camping experience. Whether you're staying for a weekend getaway or an extended visit, this campground provides the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you Tom for sharing this beautiful place with us!
This is absolutely our favorite RV park! We had never stayed here before but read all the awesome reviews and they are right on! This is the cleanest RV park we have ever stayed in. Has full hook ups, clean bathhouses with Hot Showers. Very convenient to so many cute places and right across from the New River Trail. Tom was such a nice guy and always checked to make sure everything was good. Such a refreshing experience. We will definitely recommend and will be back. It took us 5 hours from Chattanooga but it was so worth it.
