Always a good time when we go here. Prices are always fair and they stock good size catfish in the lake. It's peaceful and quiet. Great place indeed!
Apr 20, 2025 · Rondello WilliamsWhat I like most about Springhill Campground is that people move in and out often so there will be a space opening soon. I also enjoyed the trails on the property and the fishing pond. The water and electricity worked. Most spots have no sewer but you can pay $10 to have them pump out your tanks or use the dump station. The bathhouses could use a fresh coat of paint.
Oct 01, 2024 · craig hardingI've taken my kids here for years. Noone was in the office so i used the honor system and put my money in the drop box. By the time we left I wanted a refund. The moss was so bad that fishing was pretty much impossible. We went today and I spent the majority of my time dragging moss out so my son could have a place to fish. That being said the fishing is usually what you'd expect from a pay pit but we will not be back until the invest some time to maintain the pond and get the moss cleaned out. I went to relax and fish not work my ass off dragging moss. It's unfortunate that places like this aren't maintained properly.
May 18, 2025 · Oden DavisWinter 2020 through summer 2021 I live in an off-grid camper, so I was placed in an area which doesn't have hookups, and is normally reserved for seasonal tent camping. Turns out that every time it rains heavily, it floods and apparently the stocked pond overflow drains to that location, as well. I was out of town for a weekend and when I came back found out that my camper had been sitting in water WELL ABOVE the wheel wells that entire time. Found out a few residents had notified the owners, but nobody called me so I could have someone move it. The floor is completely ruined now and it took me days to clean all the nasty water and bugs out. I had thought the owners were nice people up until then.
Aug 09, 2021 · burningoblivionThis is NOT a KOA campground! Do your homework before you make a reservation for 3 nights, they don’t refund your unused nights (I know firsthand). With that said if you are looking for a long-term place to park your dilapidated trailer while you hang out to drink beer and fish, look no further. Don’t believe me? Scroll through all the pictures, you’ll get the idea.
