For Texans, particularly those in the South Texas region or those frequently traveling for work, Gone Bananas RV Park in Karnes City is an exceptionally suitable and highly recommended destination. Its suitability stems from a perfect blend of affordability, essential comforts, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Locals will appreciate the "all bills paid" pricing, which simplifies budgeting and offers significant savings over time – a crucial factor in today's economy. The park’s commitment to providing a clean, mud-free parking surface (recycled asphalt) addresses a common practical concern for RVers, especially during wet seasons. The inclusion of a "Man Cave" with entertainment, along with extra grills, transforms a simple RV park into a communal hub, allowing residents to relax and connect. This is particularly beneficial for those on long-term work assignments who might miss the comforts of home and social interaction.
Furthermore, the park's genuinely dog-friendly policy, complete with a large field for pets to run, makes it an ideal choice for Texas families who travel with their beloved canine companions. The central location provides a peaceful rural retreat without sacrificing accessibility to necessary services and nearby towns. In essence, Gone Bananas RV Park offers a practical, economical, and truly comfortable living solution for Texans, whether they're seeking a temporary base for work, a peaceful extended vacation, or just a friendly place where their RV (and their pets) are genuinely welcome. It's a testament to good old Texas hospitality and value.
We stayed in the park for 5 months and enjoyed our stay. The owner Ernest is a nice person to deal with. We had no problems what so ever with anyone. We had plenty of room to park. The lot is recycled asphalt and nice to park on. No mud to deal with. There isn't a lot of amenities but Ernest has a big Man cave that has a pool table, dart board, and entertainment. He even has extra grills for people to use. The price to stay beats every park in the area and it's all bills paid. He even has a few extra rvs that he rents out in case you don't have an RV. Conveniently located on TX 80. 10 miles from Gillett and 15 miles from Karnes City Tx. The park has Wifi too. And the best thing is dogs are allowed. He has a big field they can run in. This is definitely a great place to stay. San Antonio is an hour away. Victoria is an hour and 15 min away. Kennedy is 30 minutes away. Very peaceful out here.
May 24, 2023 · Ronda TuttI loved the scenic experience. Plus the customer service was outstanding, and it was a fun time for my whole family, definitely want to go here again! Plus the tamales in Japan last night I had, smacked harder than George Lucas to my grandson.
