Location and Accessibility: The Heart of the Jersey Cape
Green Holly Campground’s prime location in Cape May Court House places it strategically in the middle of Cape May County, often referred to as the Jersey Cape. The official address is 335 Swainton Goshen Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, USA, which pinpoints its accessibility right off the main coastal routes.
Accessibility for local New Jersey users is a significant highlight. The campground is easily reachable from the major north-south artery, the Garden State Parkway. Travelers coming from the northern parts of New Jersey or the broader tri-state area can simply take Exit 13, proceed onto Route 9 South for a short distance, and then turn onto Goshen-Swainton Road (Route 646) directly to the entrance. This straightforward route minimizes travel stress, allowing families to transition quickly from the road to relaxation.
Crucially, the location offers incredible proximity to some of the area's most beloved attractions. It is noted by customers for being "not far from local beaches," meaning the iconic shore towns—like Stone Harbor, Avalon, Sea Isle City, and the historic Cape May beaches—are just a short drive away. Furthermore, for a change of pace from the shore, the popular Cape May County Park & Zoo is a nearby, family-friendly destination, adding another layer of value to a stay at Green Holly. The location perfectly balances the peaceful, wooded setting of a campground with the convenience of a coastal resort area.

Features / Highlights

These highlights are what draw families back year after year, particularly those who embrace the seasonal camping lifestyle.
The Swimming Pool: A standout feature often mentioned in visitor commentary is the "nice pool," offering a refreshing alternative to the ocean waves, complete with sun loungers and a perfect spot for family relaxation on hot summer days.
Planned Seasonal Activities: Throughout the summer season, the campground organizes a variety of activities and entertainment. These planned group activities, held in the recreation hall or covered pavilion, foster a strong sense of community and keep children and adults engaged all weekend long.
Recreational Facilities: The resort features a dedicated playground for younger children, a game room, mini-golf, and sports courts (such as basketball), providing multiple options for active fun right on site.
Community Spaces: The covered pavilion and recreation hall serve as central gathering points for social events, creating a communal atmosphere that many seasonal campers cherish.
Diverse Accommodations: While primarily an RV and seasonal park with full hookups and amenities like fire rings and picnic tables at every site, the park also offers various ways to stay, often including limited designated tent sites and possibilities for lodging like cottages or glamping tents, catering to different camping styles.
Wooded, Spacious Sites: The 56-acre property is characterized by its blend of open and wooded areas, offering both privacy and shade. The large, wooded campsites contribute to a genuinely relaxing, natural setting.
Gated Community Environment: Operating as a gated community, especially for its seasonal residents, provides an added layer of security and exclusivity, a key factor for those who leave their units on-site for extended periods.

Visiting friends here. It's cute and quiet. Perfect location not far from local beaches. Kid friendly, nice pool and many seasonal activities for camp life. Always enjoy my stay.
Jul 27, 2025 · Megan OwensStayed here for Years. I loved the place. But no golf carts is a deal breaker. I dont understand why they dont allow carts. They could charge a little fee per season and make more money. I see your reply below. There is no License needed. Insurance is 35.00 a year. Not a big deal
Mar 24, 2025 · Steve SWater stunk, wifi was horrible and they all pay for it. Best thing is the speed limit and the other campers. Owners are money hungry. God forbid us have ti use there showers. They are horrible as well. Dirty and spiders while u shower.
Jun 10, 2025 · tony starksBeen staying at Green Holly my entire life. The community truly feels like family. I've been gone for nearly 5 years in Florida but every time I visit in that time, everyone still remembers me and is incredibly welcoming. Just a short drive to any local beaches, shopping areas, and restaurants. Not a summer goes by now that I don't miss going every weekend to my home away from home.
Aug 22, 2022 · Rachel HewesAffordable, family oriented, and very friendly. No transients which gets rid of most disturbances other campgrounds have. We have a beautiful pool that is always clean, lots of trees, everyone is willing to help even if you don’t ask. The only two downfalls I have are the fact that there is only one bath house and it’s very aged with no a/c and three stalls (remains locked unless you ask during store hours, closes with the store) and also you cannot have golf carts or any other electric vehicle. Other than those two things, it’s a great place for half the price of other campgrounds
