Hacienda Del Rio is truly stunning & amazing with so many wonderful people and amenities to enjoy. The community of residents are genuine with caring hospitality toward one another. The amazing Sales Team, Management Division and Maintenance all go above and beyond in service and communication. We have lived many places in Florida over 35 years. Sun Communities has exceeded our expectations and is a World Class Property who has made living here the best decision in our retirement. Thank you does not express our gratitude for all you do.
My husband and I have lived here for 2 years and while we aren’t fully retired yet, we’ve been able to meet some very wonderful people. The community here is like family. While, yes, the docks are currently under repair (but permits have been approved!) you can still sit out under part of it and we still have access to the boat landing to go fishing. There is every activity you can think of here (pool, ping pong, tennis, pickle ball, bingo, horse shoes, shuffle board, lots of clubs to join, a nice dog friendly park with a happy hour group of friends. We enjoy riding around in our golf cart and talking with neighbors. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The club houses can be reserved for an event for free! We’ve had several parties at them. And lastly the pools and hot tubs. Gorgeous views from the Indian river. Pools are heated. Wow. Honestly, it’s been a fun lifestyle experience.
They decided to rent out the new homes they couldn’t sell which is against the rules, turned the parking lot into RV/boat storage, RV/boats parked in driveways, pool always under repair, now the piers are shut down indefinitely by the county. Lot rent is outrageous. Tiffany the property mgr is rude, combative, condescending and lies about the parking lot not being used for storage and everything else, just look at the photo evidence. When is Sun Communities going to wake up and fire Tiffany?! Read all the neg reviews about her. Not surprisingly she has gone thru countless admin, who could work with a person like that?! Shame on Sun Communities for having someone with that bedside manner running a Senior community!!
