Happy Trails RV Park is located at 509 E Longview St, Arp, TX 75750, USA. This address places it squarely within the small town of Arp, in the heart of East Texas. For Texans, accessibility to local amenities is often a key consideration, and Arp provides the basics. As one reviewer mentioned, "Local town has fuel and other amenities needed to get by." This means you can easily refuel your vehicle, pick up basic supplies, and enjoy a local meal without having to venture far from the park.
While Arp offers a quiet, rural feel, it is also reasonably accessible to larger East Texas cities like Tyler and Longview. These cities provide more extensive shopping, dining, medical facilities, and entertainment options for anything beyond what Arp can offer. This balance allows guests at Happy Trails RV Park to enjoy the peaceful country atmosphere while still being within reach of broader services when needed.
It's important to note that the park's location, being in a smaller town, may mean proximity to elements common in rural areas, such as potential train noise, as indicated by one reviewer. However, for those seeking a "peaceful sleep and no hassle" in a down-home country setting, the general accessibility to local essentials and the overall quietude of Arp are significant advantages.

The hands-on involvement of the "good hearted" owners is another significant draw for locals. While these appear to be exceptions and individual experiences, they highlight the importance of direct communication with the park to clarify expectations and ensure a positive stay, especially for extended periods. For those who prioritize a peaceful, no-frills, authentic country experience and appreciate genuine owner hospitality, Happy Trails RV Park can indeed be a comfortable and welcoming retreat right here in East Texas.
When I visit family in the area I stay here every year. It's not your 5 star resort if that's what you're looking for. It's down home country at its finest. Owners are really good hearted and will do just about anything to make your stay feel welcomed. Local town has fuel and other amenities needed to get by. Peaceful sleep and no hassle. Looking forward to next year during the holidays... oh and good bisquits and gravy at the restaurant .
Nov 30, 2019 · Darrell StewartNot as advertised. Stayed there for s few months because of work. Couldn’t sleep because of train, always muddy, propane kept getting stolen off camper. Several broke down campers on lot. Not a place I would ever go back to nor would I recommend. As o was paying my monthly rent I told them this was my final month and we where moving to campgroup down road. I travel a lot so I admit I was a little late but I notified them via text and phone, he is seldom lay there, keep missing each other. So I was paying what was owed and told them I was moving to another campground on the 26th and owner kicked me out then. An illegal eviction. He called me a ding idiot and started to yell at me. When I left I noticed the raised the rent and overcharged me.
Jan 08, 2019 · Marcus RutledgeIf you are looking for tennis and a 24 hr store, this is not your place. If you are looking for 50 amp, water, and sewer, a great little cafe, and friendly folks at a reasonable rate . I highly recommend Happy trails.
