The park's accessibility is a key advantage for its residents. As one reviewer notes, the location is "in town, so very close to all the amenities you would need." This means that despite enjoying a quieter, community-focused environment, residents are not isolated from essential services. Harrison is accessible via major state routes like M-61 and US-127, which provide convenient connections to other parts of Michigan. This connectivity makes commuting to nearby towns for work or accessing broader services relatively straightforward, while still enjoying the benefits of living in a smaller, friendly community.

Based on the operational model of typical mobile home parks and insights from both resident and former employee reviews, Harrison Mobile Home Estates offers services primarily centered around lot rental and community management. However, it's important to consider all perspectives when evaluating these services:
Harrison Mobile Home Estates presents several features that can appeal to Michigan residents seeking a particular lifestyle, though some highlights are juxtaposed by critical feedback:
It is important for prospective residents to reconcile the positive community and home maintenance aspects highlighted by residents with the very serious allegations from a former employee regarding management practices, unaddressed maintenance issues (like mold), and unfair employment practices. This suggests that while the physical living space and neighborly interactions might be positive, the underlying management and maintenance practices warrant careful investigation.
Publicly available information does not detail any specific, current promotions or special offers for Harrison Mobile Home Estates. Mobile home parks may, from time to time, offer various incentives to attract new residents or to fill vacancies. These types of promotions often include:
Given the conflicting nature of the reviews – with positive feedback from residents about living conditions and negative feedback from a former employee regarding management and maintenance practices – it is exceptionally important for any interested Michigan residents to exercise caution and thoroughly verify all information. Instead of focusing solely on potential promotions, prospective tenants should prioritize direct communication with the park management to inquire about all terms, conditions, and any specific concerns they may have. It would be prudent to ask for written details on any offers and to understand the complete rental agreement before making any commitments. Direct engagement and personal verification are key when considering this community.
For Michigan residents interested in learning more about Harrison Mobile Home Estates, or for current residents needing to reach management, the primary contact details are as follows. Given the mixed reviews, it's advisable to approach communication with clear questions and to document your interactions.

When contacting the park, prospective residents are encouraged to inquire about lot availability, rental terms for both lots and any park-owned homes, and importantly, the park's policies and procedures regarding maintenance requests and rule enforcement. Due to some reported concerns in employee reviews, it would be wise to ask for clarification on how maintenance issues are handled and to seek explicit, written details on any aspects of the lease agreement. Preparing a list of questions in advance and taking notes during conversations can be helpful for anyone considering this mobile home park in Harrison, Michigan.
For Michigan residents considering Harrison Mobile Home Estates in Harrison, the community presents a mixed bag of potential benefits and significant concerns that warrant careful consideration. Its suitability for locals largely depends on individual priorities and a willingness to conduct thorough due diligence given the contrasting feedback.
From a resident's perspective, the park offers an appealing alternative to traditional apartment living, providing more personal space and a sense of detachment from immediate neighbors. The reported "very well maintained" mobile homes and the convenient "in town" location, offering easy access to essential amenities in Harrison, are distinct advantages. Furthermore, the strong sense of community, where "most neighbors are very friendly and alot of us care about our little community," suggests a welcoming and supportive environment, which is a highly desirable quality for many Michigan families and individuals seeking a stable neighborhood.
However, the insights from a former employee paint a drastically different picture regarding management practices and maintenance protocols. Allegations of arbitrary rule enforcement, retaliatory actions, unaddressed safety concerns (like mold being covered with paint), and unethical employment practices are extremely serious. These claims of "greed over people" suggest that while the outward appearance and resident-to-resident interactions might be positive, the underlying operational integrity could be a significant issue.
Therefore, while Harrison Mobile Home Estates might initially appear suitable for Michigan locals seeking affordable and spacious living with a good community feel, the negative feedback, particularly concerning management and maintenance, cannot be ignored. For any Michigan resident considering this park, it is absolutely crucial to investigate thoroughly. This should include: personally inspecting the condition of any available homes, asking detailed questions about maintenance responsibilities and response times, clarifying all lease terms in writing, and potentially seeking advice from tenant advocacy groups. While the friendly neighbors and convenient location are attractive, ensuring the management practices align with fair and ethical standards, and that homes are genuinely safe and well-maintained, is paramount for a truly suitable living situation in Harrison, Michigan.

If you're looking for a feasible place to live without the hassle of having neighbors on top of you like the apartments look no further. The mobile homes are very well maintained and the staff are great people. Whom try to do what they can to make it a great place to live in. Located in town, so very close to all the amenities you would need. Most neighbors are very friendly and alot of us care about our little community. Would love to see maybe a little park put in for as many of us have children. But all in all we love being a part of the Estates.
Feb 04, 2024 · Monica PrengerWould be a nice place if had better management If you don't kiss their a$$ they will look for reasons to write you up or kick you out. Maintaince only fixed things on his terms if he's not drunk. When you move out they try to charge you for things maintenance did, like sloppy painting. Don't work for them, they will refuse to pay you what they owe you or hold your check until they feel like giving it to you, if for any reason you have a disagreement wth them, and if they have family that needs a job and you are working for them you can kiss your job goodbye, because they will find a reason to push you out to bring their family in.
Feb 25, 2024 · Alisha LitwillerI have lived here for over 2 years,, been thru a few manager, but the managers now awesome and really care about the people who live here. The neighborhood is kid friendly. And for the most part the adults who live here are decent neighbors. Yards are kept up and generally a very decent place to live.
Sep 01, 2017 · Renee NearyTrailers full of Black Mold. You NEVER get anything fixed in a timely manner. And if you do they don't fix it right or fix with used parts. Way overpriced for the old falling apart trailers he rents. In the winter time he allows his plow man to plow the snow all up in the end of your driveway so your plowed in. If your disabled or elderly there is no way you could get this snow moved. Your appliances have to make burn marks on your walls from getting to hot before he will change them for you. Your sink can leak for 2 years before they will fix it with parts from other trailers. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING WHEN YOU MOVE IN AND OUT, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING. They like to take you to court and make up A LOT of lies, that you ruined something when really it was broken, dirty, or just plain older than dirt when you moved in, so they can sue you to get money from you so they can line their pockets. Keep records of EVERY CALL, EVERY LETTER YOU WRITE, EVERYTHING YOU DO HERE, that has to do with management or the owner for your own protection. Would NEVER suggest this park to anyone. Well unless you like living in unsafe places where you end up with Asthma, and COPD after a few years of living here from Black mold.

Dec 19, 2017 · Faith RossThis place is horrible. Way over priced for their flea ridden, black mold trailers. The landlords are drug using meth heads that will take you're money and say you didn't pay rent. The landlords constantly gossip about their tenants to other tenants. They will fine you over any small thing they can come up with. Grass over 4 inches? $60 fine! Your son left a bike in YOUR yard you rent that can be seen when they drive through? $60 fine! Any fixes they do to your unit is done shoddy and will break again in a month. The landlords children have scabies all over their body and look like their not taken care of properly. Domestic violence and meth is almost everyday here. You can hear drunks roaming the streets outside at night, walking through your yard, yelling profanities all hours of the night. Not a place for children at all. I'd advise you to not live here.
