Heber Springs RV Park About

For RV enthusiasts and nature lovers in Arkansas, finding the perfect spot that combines comfort, convenience, and access to outdoor adventures is key to a memorable experience. Heber Springs RV Park, nestled in the scenic community of Heber Springs, offers just that. This park is particularly appealing to those who cherish the tranquility of riverside living and the thrill of world-class trout fishing on the renowned Little Red River. It’s a place where you can truly connect with the natural beauty of the Natural State, whether for a quick getaway or an extended stay.

Heber Springs is a celebrated destination in Arkansas, famous for its pristine waters, including Greers Ferry Lake and, of course, the Little Red River. These waters draw anglers from far and wide, eager to experience the abundant brown and rainbow trout that thrive here. Heber Springs RV Park is strategically located to give you direct access to these fishing opportunities, making it a prime choice for both seasoned fishermen and those new to the sport. Imagine stepping out of your RV and being just "steps away" from some of the best trout fishing in the nation.

Beyond its exceptional location for fishing, Heber Springs RV Park prides itself on fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Many visitors consistently highlight the kindness and helpfulness of the staff and fellow campers, creating a true sense of community. This environment allows guests to truly relax and enjoy their "home away from home" in a peaceful setting. For Arkansas locals, discovering such a well-regarded and convenient RV park within their own state is a significant advantage, offering easy access to a beloved recreational area.

While the park generally welcomes a variety of RVs, it's worth noting that like many private RV resorts, Heber Springs RV Park may have specific guidelines regarding the types and conditions of campers allowed. One review mentions a custom-built camper not being permitted due to it not being a "traditional store bought" unit. This is not uncommon for RV parks aiming to maintain certain aesthetic and safety standards, often requiring RVIA certification or a specific appearance. It is always advisable for prospective guests, especially those with non-traditional or custom-built RVs, to confirm their specific unit meets park requirements before booking. This ensures a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone.

The overall appeal of Heber Springs RV Park lies in its blend of natural beauty, recreational access, and a community-oriented approach, making it a highly desirable destination for Arkansas residents looking for their next outdoor adventure or a peaceful retreat.

My husband and I bought an adorable camper here. Our opportunity to buy FINALLY became reality in this great location after inquiring for the past 2 years. We had the pleasure of staying 2 weeks in September. The folks here are super kind, helpful and friendly. We had such a great time and looking forward to our next getaway in our home away from home. Proud and blessed to now be part of the “glamping” world. Fishing on the Little Red River is just steps away. If you’ve never camped here, it’s high time you do so. Enjoy!!

My $20,000 custom built 2023 camper was not allowed because it’s not a “traditional store bought” like the cheap junk they do allow in

Interesting place. The permanent residents get all the shade trees, and views of the pond. The visitors get a barren, gravel lot, but with a fabulous view of Sugar Loaf Mtn. However, with time, the gravel lot may improve as they had new trees planted and staked.

We came in after hours, read all the info & chose a spot that didn't have problems. But I have a recommendation to the owners...please put up a reserved sign on the spots that are not available. We had to unhook & move 2 spots down because we found it was reserved when we went in to pay. Now, mind you, there are 6 other spots taken out of 30... I was a little chuffed! Other than that, it's clean, the spots are fairly level and are a good length. Don't know about the showers etc. Ps...that so called reserve never showed up...ummm?

Called to make reservations for Valentine's weekend wanting to be near the swinging bridge and the trumpet swans. When the lady called back to make reservations, she was extremely rude, very hostile and answering my ADA questions regarding the gravel in the sights and how level they were. The questions I was asking were based on safety needs. When I finally got her to answer two questions, her rudeness overcame I want to stay near the bridge and swans. When we travel we always try to support local small businesses, but I do not believe in supporting a local business that expresses rudeness on handicap questions. In over 7 years of camping this is the rudest camp host I've ever encountered
