As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground, Dam Site Campground typically operates with standardized fee structures rather than traditional commercial promotions. However, the value offered by its amenities and location at its consistent rates is itself a compelling "offer."
Current fee structures for camping at Dam Site, as of recent updates, are generally:
It's important to note that these fees are subject to change, and it's always best to confirm current pricing directly with the park or via Recreation.gov, where reservations are encouraged. Holders of Interagency Passes (such as the America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass) often receive a 50% discount on standard campsite fees, which can be a significant saving for eligible Arkansans. Making reservations in advance, especially during peak season, is highly recommended as the campground is popular and often fills up.

Was wonderful as usual! The only thing that keeps me from leaving 5 stars (I would have left 4.5 but that wasn't an option) is the bathroom was out of toilet paper most of the weekend. Luckily we brought some so wasn't a disaster or anything. But the campsites aren't on top of each other and our view was amazing.
Oct 06, 2024 · Rachel WilliamsSo beautiful!! Love it here. Really enjoyed our spot "H35" it was shaded all day with just small areas that sun came through. My Vehicle was also in the shade. A few squirrels playing and coming up to visit in the mornings. So many birds to listen to and watch. The water was flooded so we didn't swim but there is a nice area back there to enjoy the water. We stayed two nights and would have stayed longer if we could have. Just a quick getaway. You don't want to miss this State park. There are every kind of camping from pull through spots for large RV's to tent with no water or electric. Oh, the showers were clean and worked as they should but watch the benches they are rusted metal that should have been replaced a few years ago by the looks of them.
May 13, 2022 · Annette VThe campgrounds are spacious, well maintained, and a great spot to camp. The restrooms and showers on site are clean and well maintained. The marina is wonderful and the staff at "The Dam Store" are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to insure your time there is pleasant and enjoyable. One of my favorite places to visit. Highly recommend for a stress free, relaxing experience.
Nov 13, 2021 · Jason CrowThere is no sewer connection. Other than that pretty standard campsite. Lots of swimming or boating as they have a marina . They also have clif jumping into thr lake from various heights. From 1 ft to what I would say was 30 plus ft. Be safe people.
Aug 17, 2024 · Jessy WhiteBest campground on our whole 2 week camping trip through Arkansas and Tennessee! We were so lucky to find this place as we left the one we had reserved immediatley after being victims of COMPLETE false advertising (Blue Clouds RV Resort - Do NOT recommend!). We stayed in N Loop. Peaceful all sites are wooded, plenty of shade and trees. Quiet and relaxing. There was a trail across the street from our site that leads to a breathtaking view on the cliff of Greers Ferry Lake below!! Spacious sites with level pads and easy to get in and out. So many things to do within minutes of the campground. Swimming beach and lake access inside the campground, go anywhere there and set up for the day, swimming and fishing. Right outside the entrance is the Dam Site Marina and public swimming area. Beautiful lake!! Crystal clear, cold water. Kids could jump off the rocks - VERY deep lake! All the day use areas and other parks in the area, including JFK State Park on the river. Fish hatchery and TROUT jumping out of the water all day long! Go FISHING!! I cannot say enough great things about this park and location. If you are looking for a perfect place to take your family even for a weekend if you are close by.
