Perfect refresh spot after many days of driving. We were happy to find anything along the highway close to the border. The staff was so accommodating and kind. They have clean hot showers, dump stations, and laundry. The pond is beautiful. The camp is used for seasonal guests. We were there on a Sunday night in early June and even though there were tons of RVs the place was quiet and we barely saw anyone.
Jun 12, 2025 · Misty CarterIt's okay. Great for adults and retirees who wanna camp with their campers not great if you're just a day time visitor looking to swim. It's actually kinda creepy how quiet it is. And there's no kids. Which isn't great if your looking to have fun with your own kid. Again great if you're an adult trying to get away from kids. Just not kid friendly if you have them and are looking for a kid friendly place. Swimming areas left a lot to be desired... The kid's area has sand which is fine but it's a really tiny area so only suitable for a small group. Went to the adult area again super tiny area.... and there's a rocky and steep bank you have to climb down to even get to the water so not very accessible and you can absolutely trip and smash your head trying to get in. Not thought out in the least. Incredibly disappointing and won't be back again. No wonder there's no kids here.

Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Game room behind a wonderful store with items you may have forgotten. Great location for day trips to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and eastern Maine! Highly recommend staying for the weekend or several weeks!
