Conclusion: Why This Place is Suitable for Locals
For local Maine individuals and families in the Bangor area,
Old Town Regency
offers an essential housing option in a location that is both affordable and connected. In a state where housing costs continue to rise, manufactured home communities represent a vital pathway to stability and ownership. The park’s appeal is multi-faceted: it is situated in a quiet, manageable neighborhood that is extremely convenient to the job opportunities, shopping, and high-quality educational institutions of Bangor and the University of Maine. This is particularly attractive to working families who rely on the city for employment but prefer a more affordable, dedicated residential setting outside the direct urban rush. The fact that the community has on-site facilities like a playground and is noted by residents for being child-friendly further reinforces its suitability for local Mainers looking to raise their families. While, like any long-established community, residents may face periodic issues regarding maintenance of roads and utility infrastructure, the core benefit remains the provision of cost-effective homeownership and a convenient, family-oriented base in the heart of Penobscot County.Billie Joe Ct, Old Town, ME 04468, USA
The park, and manager want their money, but God forbid they do anything to fix up the dead trees, and roads. The pot holes are so bad you could easily bust a tire. Everytime they have a busted pipe the rent goes up. We have to pay for their mistakes. I would highly suggest going somewhere else. I'd give a zero if I could.
Mar 04, 2024 · Jessica ShinaVery quite trailer park that's extremely child friendly. Park for the kids. There are some shady people like every place but as long as they stay away from me. My neighbors great after a year I still have yet to meet him. Collage kids on the other side are amazing. I don't have a problem with letting my kids out in the yard by themselves
Feb 22, 2017 · Lee Evelyn DawesBeen out of water for over a week. Roads are bad. Ground is nothing but rocks and boulders so forget your garden. The park caretakers hands are tied. $428 lot rent that goes up often in the few years I've been here. Oh and a big old fire pit i can't use after only a year of living here. Most of the people are pretty good but keep a close eye on your kids.
Sep 02, 2018 · Jason PelkeyThis place is so run down its ridiculous. The property manager doesnt care about anything at all. The roads in the park were covered in ice and never have salt or sand put down. The hill there was nearly impossible to get up even in 4 wheel drive. When leaving I just slid down the hill. You would think the property manager would take the dangers of such road conditions into perspective knowing there were elderly and children that live there. I would never want to live in that park.
