High and Dry RV Park About

For many Texans, RV living offers an unparalleled sense of freedom and flexibility, whether it’s for an adventurous road trip or as a comfortable, long-term housing solution. Finding the right RV park is crucial to enjoying this lifestyle, especially when seeking a peaceful and well-maintained environment for an extended stay. In the charming and rapidly growing Montgomery area of Texas, one such destination stands out for its commitment to quiet living and resident satisfaction: High and Dry RV Park.

High and Dry RV Park is specifically designed for those seeking a tranquil and stable place to call home, focusing on monthly to long-term spot rentals. It's not about fleeting overnight stays, but about fostering a respectful community where residents can enjoy the comforts of their RVs amidst a natural setting. The park prides itself on being "tucked away off the main road," providing a sense of seclusion and privacy, while still offering convenient access to local amenities. For Texans looking for a quiet, clean, and friendly base in the Montgomery area, High and Dry RV Park offers an ideal blend of affordability, comfort, and community, making it a highly recommended choice for extended RV living.

Location and Accessibility

High and Dry RV Park is conveniently located at 226 Hall Dr S, Montgomery, TX 77316, USA. This address places it within the vibrant and rapidly developing Montgomery area of Texas, offering a strategic balance between peaceful, shaded living and excellent accessibility to key attractions and urban conveniences.

Montgomery, known as the birthplace of the Texas flag, is a historic and charming town that has experienced significant growth, while retaining its small-town appeal. The RV park's location off the main road, as noted by a reviewer, means it's "tucked away," providing a desirable sense of quiet and privacy. This seclusion is particularly appealing for long-term residents who value a serene living environment away from constant traffic and urban noise.

Despite its secluded feel, High and Dry RV Park benefits from excellent connectivity to major thoroughfares. Hall Dr S branches off from FM 1486, which is a key road connecting to larger highways. While FM 1486 itself can be a "very busy highway" as one reviewer mentioned, the park's specific placement ensures that the direct road noise from the highway is minimized within the park, allowing for a "very peaceful" internal environment.

For Texans traveling from major metropolitan areas, Montgomery is easily accessible. It's approximately an hour's drive northwest of Houston, primarily via I-45 and then a short drive on local roads. The Woodlands, a major commercial and entertainment hub, is also within a comfortable driving distance. Lake Conroe, a hugely popular recreational lake, is just minutes away, offering endless opportunities for boating, fishing, and lakeside activities. This proximity to Lake Conroe is a significant draw for many RVers. The combination of a quiet, tree-filled setting and convenient access to both natural attractions and essential urban amenities makes High and Dry RV Park a well-located choice for those seeking a tranquil yet connected long-term RV lifestyle in Texas.

I give it a four only because of the road noise 1486 is a very busy highway. But the park is very peaceful, quiet everybody’s respectful of everyone else. Stayed a little over two months. It was very nice. They also give a military discount which I totally appreciated since we’re on a fixed income. We are selling our RV or we would be staying here more often.

I'm giving them 5 Stars even though I haven't stayed there yet because, they have got to be some of the nicest people I've ever spoken with on the phone. The gentleman I spoke with was absolutely pleasant. What a great way to do business,it all starts with the person on the phone. He did not have any slots available and he was extremely apologetic and wish he could have accommodated me. He did let me know that something was coming open at the end of the month. Once again it was an absolute pleasure dealing with him over the phone. You can have the greatest business in the world or should I say business model but if the attitudes of the owners are bad they will struggle.
