A mobile home park, often referred to as a manufactured home community, provides a unique and often affordable alternative to traditional stick-built housing. These communities are specifically designed to accommodate manufactured homes, offering residents a dedicated plot of land, often with access to shared amenities and utilities. They represent a significant segment of the housing market, providing flexible and accessible living solutions for individuals and families alike. Highland Park Mobile Home Community, located in the heart of Greenville, aims to be one such place, offering a distinct living experience for those seeking a convenient and potentially cost-effective home in Eastern North Carolina.

Greenville, a dynamic city in Pitt County, is known for its strong healthcare sector, vibrant university life at East Carolina University, and growing economy. The community’s location on Portertown Road offers a balance between residential tranquility and accessibility to major thoroughfares. Residents can expect reasonable commutes to downtown Greenville, shopping centers, and medical facilities. While specific public transportation options directly serving the community should be verified with local transit authorities, the general area benefits from Greenville's developing infrastructure, making it relatively easy to navigate by personal vehicle.

When considering a mobile home community, understanding the services offered is crucial for a comfortable living experience. While specific details about all services at Highland Park Mobile Home Community may vary and are best confirmed directly with community management, typical mobile home parks often provide a range of essential services to their residents. These can include:

  • Waste management: Often includes regular trash collection services.
  • Community management: On-site or accessible management for addressing resident concerns and maintaining community standards.
  • Basic grounds maintenance: Upkeep of common areas and infrastructure within the park.

Every community has its unique set of features and highlights that contribute to its overall appeal. Based on publicly available information and general expectations of mobile home communities, Highland Park Mobile Home Community may offer various attributes designed to enhance resident satisfaction. • Individualized lots: Plots where residents can place their mobile homes.

It is worth noting that some public feedback has mentioned specific areas of the community, such as Rocket Road, experiencing congestion due to parked vehicles, including commercial trucks and trailers, which some residents have indicated can impact the ease of navigation within certain internal streets and affect the overall appearance. Additionally, concerns regarding vehicles parked on yards and noise from parties have been raised by some past visitors. Conversely, some residents have highlighted the quiet nature of certain neighborhoods within the park and commended the management, specifically mentioning "Ms. Jackie" as a "great landlord" who is "very patient and negotiable." These varied perspectives suggest that the resident experience can differ depending on the specific location within the park and individual expectations.

Went to visit and could not get through the streets without fear being hit head on by another vehicle. The streets are two way but on all the streets there were box trucks parked on both sides of the street. If a car had backed out of their driveway they would have backed into me coming down the street because they couldn't see around the big commercial trucks and trailers.Use to be nice know cars are parked in the yards on the grass. These commercial work trucks and long work trailers should not be allowed. Trashy looking park after dark. Parties up and down the streets in the mobile home park. People drunk walking down the streets. The most congestion is on Rocket Road. Other parking problems throughout.
