This place is incredible, easily located off 76. Horse city KOA has a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. A pool that can easily fit 30 to 40 people, a playground for the kids, a basketball court, a super slide, newly added mini golf course. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the tree house and the term glamping didn't have much of a meaning until I saw this place. Words don't do it much justice. Definitely worth a holiday stay!!

Such a great weekend! We had lot 83 (which is a pull through at the base of the stairs and across from the playground) which is a bit wonky and unlevel (R-L Lean). One of the few pull throughs with grass. Very clean and spacious bathrooms! all-in all, everything we could have asked for.

In our experience this was an OK Campground, but certainly NOT great. It felt more like a parking lot than a campground, and since it was on a hill, it was on ledges. Our assigned site was barely long enough to accommodate our travel trailer and tow vehicle. The Sewer Pipe was sticking out of the ground so high that it was unusable (you know "what" does not run up hill). I had to use the dump station as opposed to being able to discard of our black water at the site. They did, after I complained about this, extend me a small refund towards the sewer part of the "Full Hook-Up" price that I paid. Beware, that this campground is located very close to the Interstate and the traffic NOISE was continuous, and I personally found it extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep due to the noise. The only reason I even gave this place 3 Stars was because the Restrooms/Showers were very CLEAN, which we did appreciate, and also the Office Area/Store was very nice and even had a neat little Coffee Shop. The Staff was Friendly & Helpful.

The KOA was very nice, plenty of amenities and scenery. We booked 2 nights, March 4/5. We arrived before dark, easy set up and had dinner. It was very windy and rainy, no big deal when RVing as you go with the flow. Our concern came about 8pm when we had wind gusts between 45-55 mph and tornado warnings. We decided to pack it up and head to a nearby hotel for safety reasons. On Wednesday, we visited Mammoth Cave as planned. The wind and rain had let up slightly so we decided to move on and head north. The reason for the lower review is that we did not stay one night of the 2 we had booked. My wife asked if we could get the second night refunded as we would not be staying They said due to their cancellation policy they would not refund either night. Most of the time I understand cancellation policies and deal with it. I felt that due to the extreme weather and the fact that we were the ONLY RV in the campground they could have been a bit more accommodating.

Very unhappy with mgmt. I made my reservation based on amenities that were not provided. When I complained I was kicked out. I wouldn't recommend this campground at all. It was a very bad experience. Mgmt's answer to my review was to accuse me of a threat which is simply untrue. I merely asked why I was lied to regarding the availability of TV...When I asked for a credit I was sent packing. The staff has a serious problem with the truth.
