We live about 30 minutes away from the park and have been checking out parts of the lake since we moved out here. This is definitely our favorite spot on the lake. We didn’t camp here, only had a day pass and we were just there exploring. The cabins and “shelters” look pretty nice and we’re definitely interested in spending the weekend soon. And yes, there are deer everywhere! They are accustom to humans being around and at the guest center at the front of the park they sell deer corn. I am posting this review on 6825 and the bucks are all in velvet. We were able to feed the deer from our hand. Wild deer ate from our palm. That is an experience I will never forget! I would not suggest trying this during rutting season though (October to December). The public swimming area looks very inviting too. Better than the beach at the park on the south side of the lake. The lady’s at the check in were very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Loved, loved, loved this park!! It was our first time and we were so impressed. Staff were so friendly and helpful! They even comped us a golf cart for the week since it was our first time!! Sites are spacious and mostly level concrete pads. Easy lake access all over the park. Clean spacious laundry facilities. Our favorite part was all the deer 🦌!! So many all over the park and many will eat right from your hands. Deer food is sold in the camp office/store.

Went to look at the park, it's big with lot's of rv site's and tent camping site's and cottages. Park is well kept and clean. Will definitely plan a trip and stay at this park. Could not comment on the rooms or service as we only went to look and not stay.
