HSV RV Park About
For those of us in Arkansas who cherish the RV lifestyle, finding a park that combines convenience with a serene atmosphere is always a top priority. HSV RV Park, nestled within the picturesque community of Hot Springs Village, offers a unique and largely tranquil experience for RV enthusiasts. While it has its specific considerations, its core appeal lies in its peaceful setting and practical amenities, making it a beloved spot for many who call our state home.
Visitors consistently highlight the park's quiet charm. One reviewer enthused, "Very quiet, nice peaceful stream right behind some of the sites and great spacing between sites." This emphasis on tranquility and ample personal space is a significant draw, allowing campers to truly relax and unwind. The park provides full hookups, ensuring a comfortable stay without the need for extensive self-sufficiency, and the "water pressure is fantastic…so much so we had to decrease it to stop triggering the water heater to overflow," a testament to their robust utility connections.
It’s important to note that access to HSV RV Park has a unique prerequisite: "Must be an HSV member or a guest of one to stay here." This exclusivity contributes to the peaceful atmosphere and helps maintain the community feel of Hot Springs Village. While some larger RVs might find the "dangerous entry driveway" and "narrow" roads within Hot Springs Village a challenge, leading to concerns about branches taking out mirrors, the general consensus is that "sites are all gravel and pretty level," with some even featuring "a small concrete pad under the picnic table." The presence of "nice large fire rings" adds to the quintessential camping experience. Despite minor navigational quirks for larger rigs, the overall sentiment points to a highly desirable, quiet, and well-appointed RV park that many are eager to "definitely will stay again!"
HSV RV Park is strategically located within Hot Springs Village, AR 71909, USA. Hot Springs Village is a large, private, gated community known for its numerous golf courses, lakes, and extensive recreational amenities, situated in the Ouachita Mountains of central Arkansas. This unique setting means the RV park isn't a standalone commercial venture but rather an amenity within a larger, exclusive residential and recreational area.
Access to HSV RV Park is tied directly to its location within Hot Springs Village. As noted in reviews, "Must be an HSV member or a guest of one to stay here." This means general public access is restricted, and entry requires authorization through one of the Village's guarded gates. Once inside, the park is described as having "Access closer to the HSV western gate," which can be helpful for navigation. However, visitors should be aware that the internal "windy curvy roads" within Hot Springs Village are "slightly narrow," and for anything "over 35 feet long," there might be challenges. One reviewer specifically noted "branches took out our outside mirror on the motor home," indicating a need for vigilance, especially for larger rigs.
The "dangerous entry driveway," with a "culvert on one side and drop off on the other," also suggests that the final approach to the park itself requires careful maneuvering for larger vehicles. Despite these navigational considerations, the park's location within Hot Springs Village grants access to the Village's extensive amenities, from golf and lakes to trails and dining (though some amenities may be exclusive to members or have additional fees). For those who meet the entry requirements and are prepared for the Village's roads, the location offers a unique blend of peaceful RV camping and proximity to a wide array of recreational opportunities in a secure, community setting.
HSV RV Park provides a focused set of essential services designed to offer a comfortable and convenient stay for RV campers within the Hot Springs Village community. While it embraces a peaceful, somewhat rustic feel, it delivers on crucial modern hookups.
- Full Hookups: A primary service, all sites offer "full hook ups," which typically include water, electricity, and sewer connections. This eliminates the need for frequent trips to dump stations and ensures maximum convenience for RVers.
- Fantastic Water Pressure: The park boasts "fantastic" water pressure, a notable amenity that ensures strong water flow for showers and other RV needs. Campers are advised to "decrease it to stop triggering the water heater to overflow," suggesting the pressure is exceptionally robust.
- Gravel Sites: All sites are surfaced with "gravel," providing a stable and relatively level foundation for RVs, even in varied weather conditions.
- Level Sites: The sites are generally described as "pretty level," reducing the effort required for RVers to set up their rigs, though some minor leveling may still be needed depending on the site.
- Concrete Pads (Some Sites): Some sites feature "a small concrete pad under the picnic table," offering a clean and stable surface for outdoor dining and relaxation.
- Large Fire Rings: Each site is equipped with "nice large fire rings," allowing campers to enjoy traditional campfires for warmth, cooking, and ambiance.
- Pet-Friendly: Pets are welcome at the park, accommodating RVers who travel with their animal companions. However, guests are reminded to "be sure to bring your own baggies for dog clean up," promoting responsible pet ownership.
- Quiet Environment Management (Implied): While not a direct service, the park's quiet nature suggests a managed environment that encourages tranquility, possibly through enforced quiet hours, enhancing the peaceful experience for all guests.
- No On-Site Facilities (Bathrooms/Showers): A crucial point for potential visitors is that there are "No facilities" such as public bathrooms or showers within the RV park itself. This means RVers must rely solely on their RV's internal facilities.
These services are tailored to self-contained RVs, providing the necessary hookups and site amenities for a comfortable, quiet stay within the unique environment of Hot Springs Village.
HSV RV Park offers several distinctive features and highlights that make it a compelling choice for RV campers, particularly those seeking peace and direct access to the Hot Springs Village lifestyle.
- Very Quiet and Peaceful Environment: The most emphasized highlight is the park's tranquil ambiance. Visitors consistently describe it as "Very quiet" and commend its "nice peaceful stream right behind some of the sites," creating a serene escape from noise and crowds.
- Excellent Site Spacing: Campers appreciate the "great spacing between sites," which provides a sense of privacy and prevents a cramped feeling, enhancing the overall comfort and relaxation.
- Full Hookups with Exceptional Water Pressure: The provision of reliable "full hook ups" (water, electric, sewer) is a key convenience. The "fantastic" water pressure is a standout amenity, ensuring a robust water supply for all RV needs.
- Level Gravel Sites with Fire Rings: The "all gravel and pretty level" sites make setup easier for RVers. The inclusion of "nice large fire rings" at each site allows for enjoyable campfires and outdoor cooking.
- Exclusive Access to Hot Springs Village: A unique feature is the park's location within Hot Springs Village, requiring guests to be "an HSV member or a guest of one." This exclusivity contributes to the quiet, well-maintained nature of the surroundings and grants potential access to the Village's extensive amenities (golf, lakes, trails) for those who qualify.
- Pet-Friendly Policy: The welcome for pets (with a reminder for clean-up) is a positive feature for RVers who travel with their furry companions, making it a more inclusive destination.
- Scenic Valley Views: Although one reviewer noted the valley itself is "beautiful enough," the implied natural surroundings contribute to the park's visual appeal and overall outdoor experience.
- Attentive Maintenance (BBQ repair): While a BBQ repair took time, the fact that maintenance was finally completed indicates a commitment to ensuring site amenities are functional, even if not immediate.
While the entry driveway and narrow roads within the Village are noted considerations, the core highlights of peace, spacious sites, robust utilities, and integration into the exclusive Hot Springs Village community make HSV RV Park a highly desirable destination for its specific clientele.
As HSV RV Park is located within the private, gated community of Hot Springs Village and caters to its members and their guests, its operational model differs from typical commercial RV parks that frequently advertise seasonal "promotions" or "special offers." The "offer" is primarily the access to the exclusive amenities and tranquil environment of Hot Springs Village itself, at established rates for members or guests.
Based on the provided information, the park does not appear to run public, short-term promotional discounts. However, there are inherent value propositions and potential pricing structures that might be considered "special offers" in a broader sense:
- Exclusive Access: The primary "offer" is the unique opportunity to stay within Hot Springs Village, which is typically restricted to members. Being able to access this community, with its golf courses, lakes, and other amenities, is a significant draw in itself, even if there isn't a direct discount on the RV site fee.
- Long-Term / Monthly Rates: The review mentioning paying "$113 a month for roads" implies that there are indeed monthly or long-term rates available. These extended-stay options are typically much more affordable per night than short-term daily rates, making them a significant "special offer" for those planning prolonged visits. For RVers looking for a seasonal or extended stay in the area, these long-term rates would be a key value proposition.
- Consistent Value: The positive reviews regarding the "quiet," "great spacing," and "fantastic water pressure" suggest that the park consistently delivers a high-quality experience at its regular rates, representing good ongoing value.

For RV enthusiasts across Arkansas, HSV RV Park presents a uniquely suitable option, particularly for those who prioritize peace, comfort, and potential access to an array of high-quality amenities. While its location within Hot Springs Village carries specific entry requirements and navigational considerations, these factors contribute to its overall appeal for a particular segment of local RVers.
Firstly, the park's consistent emphasis on being "Very quiet" with "great spacing between sites" addresses a common desire among RVers for a tranquil and uncrowded experience. Many locals seek an escape from the hustle and bustle, and the serene environment, often complemented by a "peaceful stream right behind some of the sites," provides exactly that. This quietude is a significant draw for those looking to genuinely relax and unwind in their RV.
The provision of "full hook ups" with "fantastic water pressure" ensures a comfortable and convenient stay. For Arkansans who enjoy the comforts of home while on the road, having reliable utilities at their site is paramount. The "all gravel and pretty level" sites, along with "nice large fire rings," further enhance the practical side of camping, making setup and enjoyment straightforward.
The exclusive nature of staying within Hot Springs Village, even with its "member or guest" requirement, can be a major advantage. For those who meet the criteria, it provides access to the Village’s renowned golf courses, lakes, walking trails, and other facilities, transforming an RV trip into a more comprehensive recreational vacation. This integration into a planned community offers a different kind of "getaway" than traditional campgrounds, blending outdoor living with community amenities.
While the entry for larger rigs might require extra care due to "narrow" and "windy curvy roads," this is a manageable trade-off for the privacy and quality of the environment. The affordability of potential monthly rates, as implied by a review, also makes it an attractive option for Arkansans looking for extended stays or even seasonal living within a beautiful, secure setting.
In conclusion, HSV RV Park is ideally suited for Arkansan RVers who value a quiet, spacious, and amenity-rich experience within the exclusive and scenic community of Hot Springs Village. It offers a unique blend of peaceful RV living and access to a high-quality lifestyle, making it a highly recommended choice for your next RV adventure in the Natural State.
Customer Reviews
If you have anything over 35 feet long plan on taking the whole road to get in their dangerous entry driveway. Culvert on one side and drop off on the other. Sites are good, water pressure is great, our BBQ was busted and on the 4th of out of our 4 days here the finally fixed it. The valley is beautiful enough but to live here and pay $113 a month for roads so narrow that branches took out our outside mirror on the motor home. Just not for us.
Very quiet, nice peaceful stream right behind some of the sites and great spacing between sites. No facilities, but full hook ups. Water pressure is fantastic…so much so we had to decrease it to stop triggering the water heater to overflow. Sites are all gravel and pretty level, some had a small concrete pad under the picnic table. Nice large fire rings. Pets welcome but be sure to bring your own baggies for dog clean up. Access closer to the HSV western gate, with windy curvy roads, just need to be vigilant as roads are slightly narrow. Must be an HSV member or a guest of one to stay here. Definitely will stay again!
We stayed for 2 nights here at HSV. Very quite, there was 2 others here. We were out most of the time visiting my family. There is 30&50 amps electricity, water and sewage. The sites are pretty even, there’s a creek behind where you can launch your kayak. Michelle is awesome and helps with anything you need to know. The office is only open 9-2pm so make sure you call during those times. The only suggestion I would make is there is only 1 working light post they need more lighting. If you come back to your RV at night it’s extremely dark. Oh make sure you READ the email confirmation at the bottom to see what gate you should enter that’s manned by 24 hr security. Great place no extra amenities a little pricey at $40 a night with no extras but nonetheless we loved it here!!
Electric (50/30), water and sewer at all sites. Most are level. Very nice campground for visiting family. $40/night for guests with a 7 day max, $25/night for property owners with a 14 day max. Walking path goes right through it and there's a lively stream but watch out for snakes- we saw what looked like a coralheaf snake in the stream. Fore rings & hook ups but no other amenities.
This is a nicely set up park with pull throughs and back ins. Quiet! No full timers. Well maintained. Full hook ups but no other facilities. Access from the main highway is on a few miles of paved but narrow, curvey 2 lane roads. Very doable but just a little tight. Sites are available only to POA members and their guests.
