Apr 02, 2025 · Danielle PorterFantastic campground. We stayed in C 10. Beautiful views on large, level gravel sites. Well-maintained and clean, with full hookups. Senior discount is nice too. We will return!
Oct 01, 2023 · Rob ColemanStayed here June 2023 weekend in section C. Bathroom and showers clean. New bath house. 2022 I think. C camp area remodeling 2022 after tornado damage. Was told other sections, A and B starting August 2023. We had site C5. Level pullover site. Weird layout but useable. Will return. Staff great.
Jun 04, 2023 · Clay MCompletely enjoyed our stay in the new and improved B loop. Gorgeous views of Wheeler Lake on the Tennessee River. The sunsets have been spectacular. We stayed in site B41 in our 42 foot 5th wheel. The site was ample length to accommodate our RV, and wide enough to park our Jeep and Ram 3500 dually side by side. We enjoyed the convenience of full hook ups. We had great coverage on our Verizon phones, and a clear view for our Starlink internet. I would have preferred the road to be wider to facilitate the backing in process.
Apr 11, 2024 · Mary WoodisStayed in the primitive camping area for 2 nights. Nice, clean, and quiet... for the most part. This is all from our stay.. Experiences may vary: Quite a few piles of dog feces scattered around the primitive boat launch making bank fishing a mine field. 1 group of campers kept blasting their music well passed curfew. 1 instance of a drunk elderly gentleman yelling profanities at his child upwards of 30minutes. Security not so swiftly took care of the matter but no further instances arose. If they (hosts/security) were more strict in enforcing rules, it can definitely be a better place. Also, regarding the on site bathrooms. The lights are automatic, so if your doing the deed, the lights will go off and your in the dark.
