Customer Reviews
Came for a couple nights, which turned into a couple weeks, then a couple months, and now it's been a year. Not a single complaint about this place. Has exactly what I need, no more and no less. It's clean and well-kept, and I have dedicated water, sewer and power at my site. It's quiet, rural, about 30 minutes from several small towns, including Muscle Shoals and Sheffield with tons of music historical significance. There's no public bathroom or playgrounds or pools or activities or anything like that, it's more of a natural country place. But there is a pond and a big field, some occasional wildlife - deer, turtles, birds, and I think there might be fish in the pond, not sure, but I see people fishing sometimes. The owners are great!
I came out here almost 6 months ago not knowing anyone or the area. The owners and everyone involved with the park, tenants and all involved, have been very inviting and helpful. When any issues arise they handle them promptly and professionally. The personnel here are the reason why I moved to Alabama. I can’t possibly express my gratitude for the friendships that have been made over the last 6 months. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is low key off the normal busy path of other cookie cutter parks than this is the place. If your looking for a place to stay where you will get the true southern hospitality than this is the place. Not far from Huntsville and major shopping. Lots of fishing hunting and hiking around close by. Give it a try for your self, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
Perfect camping place in the country. Not far from bigger places depending on direction you go. Not crowded right now anyway, but it's very quiet and nice out here and pet friendly. Has catch and release pond too. Owners we don't see often but when we do they are very nice. We would recommend this place to anyone. We live out here until hubby's job sends us elsewhere. UPDATE 9/5/19: We got a full park now and it's still nice and quiet. You don't find places like this often & we know campgrounds.
A place you are allowed to be and feel at home with owners that that are the most gracious, helpful and friendly people I have had the honor to meet. We moved my daughter there from south AL and it was the blind leading the blind with the camper we had just purchased. Here come the owners and saved us. The place is not fancy, but it is homey and what more could you want. This is where I hope to go when I head home from NC soon. (Fortunately I know my camper a bit)
Owner is beyond rude. I have called twice about staying here and she has never been nice. I’m not so sure they want any business. They do not take reservations. First come, first serve. Hanging up on someone who’s offering you money isn’t how you run a business. I would definitely not feel welcome staying here.
