Promotions or Special Offers

While specific, active promotions are not consistently advertised in general public information, campgrounds like Lake Hill often have a dynamic pricing structure and might offer various deals throughout the year. Based on common practices in the camping industry and the nature of Lake Hill Campground, Ohio locals might find:

  • Monthly RV Site Rates: Lake Hill Campground explicitly mentions monthly rates for RV sites, which are typically more cost-effective for extended stays compared to daily or weekly rates. For example, monthly RV sites with 30/50 amp water/electric/sewer were noted at $450 for two adults, with additional charges for extra adults and electricity usage.
  • Off-Season Pricing: While not explicitly stated as a "promotion," rates for all types of sites (RV, tent, cabins) may be lower during the off-peak seasons (e.g., late fall, winter, early spring) when demand is typically reduced and some amenities might be seasonal.
  • Group Rates: The availability of a large bunkhouse suggests that Lake Hill Campground is well-equipped to handle groups, and it's common for such facilities to offer special rates for large parties or extended group bookings.
  • Seasonal Specials: It's always a good idea to check directly with the campground for any unadvertised specials or packages, especially around holidays or local events. They might offer discounts for specific types of campers or for booking during quieter periods.

We have been staying here since April 1. Julie and her husband and brother in law do a good job of caring for that sweet little camp ground. Fair prices and we feel very blessed to have found it. It’s a great place for kids to enjoy a camp ground. Bring the bicycles because there is a trail at the bottom of hill for riding on. Or if you jog. Frankfort has the best pizza. And the hard woods is beautiful. Come enjoy a week this summer with the kids. Hocking hills is a 20 30 min drive from here but worth the day away..

Very bad experience. She says one thing but does another. You won't have water, and she will not return any money owed to you. I advise stay away. My son had a horrible experience. Over charged and lied to. Definitely find another place anywhere else.

Secluded, private campground and lake. I was walking on the Tri-County Triangle Trail that is across the road from the campground and took a look around the lake and campground. The lake is a decent size and the campground was clean and seems to be quite popular. I liked the small cabins and would enjoy staying in one in the fall. I'm glad that I hiked up to the campground. You never know what pleasant surprises you might come across.

This is the most peace I have found in a very long time. The owners are welcoming, the lake is beautiful and the campground is so quiet. They have cabins and a laundry facility. This is the peace you are searching for.

My husband and I travel for work. We stayed her for about a year and a half. Owners were very accommodating. The campground was always clean and peaceful. Which we loved. It is also located near a paved trail. This was really nice since we have 3 dogs and loved to take them on the trail. We never had any issues. It’s also an hour away from Columbus and about 15 to 20 minutes from Chillicothe. We had a great time staying here.
