Promotions or Special Offers

The most significant "promotion" or "special offer" at Lake North Campground is its fundamental pricing structure: camping is free. This is a rare and highly valued feature, especially in a time when many campgrounds are increasing their rates. This inherent affordability means that campers can enjoy a peaceful and amenity-equipped site without any nightly cost.

Because camping at Lake North Campground is free, there aren't typically advertised "promotions" in the traditional sense, such as discounts or seasonal deals. The low-cost nature of the experience itself serves as the primary draw. This makes it an ideal destination for budget-conscious individuals, families, or groups looking to maximize their outdoor experience without a significant financial outlay for accommodation.

It is important to remember that while camping is free, standard park rules and regulations still apply, and a Nebraska State Park Permit may be required for vehicle entry to Lake North Park (which is part of the Loup Power District recreation areas). While the camping itself is free, this permit is a common requirement across many of Nebraska’s state recreation areas. Visitors should check the official Loup Power District or Nebraska Game & Parks Commission websites for any updates on park access fees or specific guidelines, as these can change. The consistent offer of free camping remains the core attraction of Lake North Campground, providing exceptional value for any local seeking an outdoor adventure.

Fantastic. As a first time rv’er you can’t beat this place. Very well maintained for a free spot and it’s a Beautiful view to wake up to. Quiet, clean and everyone that comes is respectful. Has free electric hook up but not water. However you can fill up any containers for free. Also has a bathroom to use but no rv dump. The Park for the kiddos is a little wanting but you might not even care. Swimming is allowed and has a great walking path. The electric I parked at did not work so I recommend you try them with a phone charger before you park/detach otherwise you’ll either have to reattach and move or run your cords to another hookup like I did. I blew the breaker at the hookup when I ran my ac while sharing with someone else. Just FYI. Other than that like I said it’s free and one of the best. The path I think goes aaaaaaaallllllllll the way around the lake so you can get a great walk in at anytime of day And then finish off with a dip in the water. That farmer across the street works hard if you see him say hello. 5 stars all day. 👍 good job Columbus

Free camping with electric. No water or showers though. They have toilets but it’s just a small building with no doors. Swimming is allowed but the water is pretty dirty. Saw some massive buffalo carp too. There are trash cans everywhere but apparently they are invisible to most people because there’s trash all over.
