Beautiful state park although small. Easy and moderate hiking trail options. Amenities short walks on well maintained trails. Small beach - busy on weekends but just what you need for young kids. Park patrol will buzz around daily and are always helpful if you have any questions. Great for groups. Group camp cabins and group camp tent sites available. Group camp tent site is huge! Plenty of space for 10 tents - some spaces close to trail. Group campsite has a warming house/building to use and plenty of picnic tables and a fire pit. Regular bathrooms (and pit for use when not in summer season). Nicely done space.
A pretty big spot for a group camp that is right on the lake. . It has its own parking area and tons of picnic tables and grills. It has its own picnic/ warming shelter as well as flushable bathrooms in season. You are right next to the swim beach and picnic area. There are trails that lead right through and you have good views of the lake.
