Lakeview RV Campground boasts a highly desirable address at 2820 Indian Point Rd, Branson, MO 65616, USA. This location is a significant asset for Missouri residents and visitors alike, positioning the campground perfectly for both relaxation and exploration. Indian Point Road is a well-known area in Branson, celebrated for its scenic beauty and its close proximity to Table Rock Lake, one of Missouri's most beloved recreational waterways.
While the entrance is noted by a reviewer as being "narrow with some ruts making it a bit difficult for larger RV," it's also quickly followed by reassurance that it's "manageable if you’re an experienced driver." Furthermore, the owner's personal experience with a larger rig navigating the entrance provides confidence, suggesting that while caution is advised, access is certainly feasible for most RVs. Once inside, the park's setting "on the side of a hill" contributes to its unique character and likely offers the "nice view" mentioned by a customer, hinting at potential lake views that live up to the campground's name.
The "great location" and "quiet area" are consistently highlighted, which are prime benefits for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the constant buzz of the Branson Strip, yet still within easy reach. Indian Point Road itself connects campers to major arteries that lead directly to Branson's live shows, theme parks like Silver Dollar City (which is very close by), dining establishments, and shopping venues. This balance of seclusion and accessibility makes Lakeview RV Campground an excellent choice for Missouri locals looking to maximize their vacation time without extensive travel between their accommodation and attractions.
Lakeview RV Campground focuses on providing the essential services needed for a comfortable and enjoyable RV stay. While it emphasizes a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, it ensures that core needs of RVers are met. Based on customer reviews and common RV park amenities, here are the services you can expect:
- Full Hookups: The campground offers sites with "30/50 amp service" as well as standard 30 amp, indicating that full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer connections) are available. This is a fundamental service that allows RVers to fully utilize their onboard facilities without needing to frequently move their rig. The flexibility of both 30 and 50 amp service caters to a wide range of RV power requirements.
- Level or Near-Level Pads: A significant convenience highlighted by a reviewer is that the "pad was very close to level," even to the point where leveling pads weren't needed. This speaks to the effort made in preparing the sites, saving campers time and effort during setup and contributing to a more comfortable stay.
- On-Premises Restaurant: A notable service mentioned by a reviewer is the presence of a "restaurant on premises." This is a highly valued amenity, offering convenient dining options without having to leave the campground, which can be particularly appealing after a day of exploring or for those who prefer not to cook every meal. The review states the food was "good," adding to its appeal.
- Owner Accessibility and Customer Service: Reviews strongly emphasize the excellent service provided by the owner. Described as a "very nice gentleman" who is "very happy to have an off-season guest," the owner's willingness to "move us to a little bit better pull through that had 30/50 amp service with no extra charge" showcases a high level of customer care and flexibility. This personalized attention is a significant service differentiator.
- Quiet and Peaceful Environment: While not a traditional "service," the overall ambiance of a "quiet area" is a key offering. Many RVers seek campgrounds that provide a peaceful retreat, and Lakeview RV Campground delivers on this, especially during the off-season.
These services demonstrate a commitment to providing a straightforward, comfortable, and welcoming experience for RVers visiting the Branson area.
Lakeview RV Campground offers several key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal, especially for those seeking a quieter, more relaxed RV experience in the bustling Branson area. These elements differentiate it and are often central to a camper's positive experience:
- Scenic Location with Potential Views: True to its name, the campground is likely to offer "Lakeview" potential. Situated on Indian Point Road and described as being "on the side of a hill," it's well-positioned to provide picturesque vistas of Table Rock Lake or the surrounding Ozark landscape. One review explicitly mentions a "nice view."
- Personalized Owner Service: A standout highlight is the highly praised, hands-on, and accommodating approach of the owner. The willingness to upgrade sites without extra charge and ensure guest satisfaction speaks volumes about the personalized attention campers can expect. This level of service fosters trust and makes guests feel genuinely welcomed.

- Quiet and Tranquil Atmosphere: Despite being near a major tourist destination, the campground offers a "quiet area." This is a major highlight for those who prefer a peaceful retreat over a lively, crowded environment, providing a true sense of escape.
- Suitable for Various Rig Sizes (with experience): While the entrance might be a bit tricky for larger rigs, the owner's confidence and a reviewer's successful navigation suggest that even bigger RVs can be accommodated, particularly by experienced drivers. The owner's personal experience with a large rig adds credibility to this.
- Level or Easily Leveled Sites: The fact that "the pad was very close to level" for a reviewer is a huge plus. This minimizes the effort required for setup and ensures a comfortable, stable stay, enhancing the overall camping experience.
- Off-Season Appeal: For those who prefer to travel during quieter times, the campground appears to be very welcoming to "off-season guest," even seemingly appreciating their presence during less busy periods. This could mean more space and a more exclusive feel for winter or early spring travelers.
- Proximity to Indian Point Attractions: Its location on Indian Point Road places it very close to popular local spots, including Silver Dollar City, Indian Point Marina, and various lake activities, balancing seclusion with convenient access to entertainment.
These features collectively create an inviting environment for RVers seeking a blend of tranquility, convenience, and attentive service in the Branson area.

It's always worth asking if there are any specific advantages to booking directly.

Customer Reviews
Reserved a 30 amp pull through site for a week while visiting with family during the off-season (mid February). The owner (a very nice gentleman) moved us to a little bit better pull through that had 30/50 amp service with no extra charge. Owner seemed very happy to have an off-season guest (I never saw anyone else during our stay). The park is on the side of a hill and I was somewhat skeptical of pulling in. The owner stated he has a larger rig than mine and pulls in with no problem. He was absolutely correct in his assessment! I made it in with no problem. The pad was very close to level, I didn’t even bother with my leveling pads. I certainly will re-book if I am in the area again and I recommend them to anyone traveling to the area!
Entrance is narrow with some ruts making it a bit difficult for larger RV. Manageable if you’re an experienced driver. Great location, quiet area and the restaurant on premises was good. Nice view.
We really enjoyed our stay at this small Family owned campground. Owners were on site and friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site had really good Nachos and Pool was still open. You can get to Silver Dollar City in a matter of minutes
We stayed in cabin 1. Spacious bedroom and loft. Full size appliances. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean! Extremely close to Silver Dollar City. Just a few minutes to Branson. Trees still had leaves so lake was harder to see. The deck could use 1 more step at the bottom if you are short.
Great location. The campground must have had water problems, we were gone for the day and came back to camper to a gallon of water and no running water to our site or toilets, no communication from office, next morning no water again til early afternoon with no communication from office. It wasn’t very busy thank god otherwise the toilets would have gotten real nasty. All the way from Wisconsin.
