The hangar is awesome. It's relatively quiet during the day with decent wifi, so my partner was able to work remote. At night, ping pong and pickleball were a great way to unwind. Plenty of bathrooms and showers as well. Camping is as quiet as you want it to be, you might just have to walk/drive to the bathrooms.

Have been coming here for 5 years. New staff yelled at me for playing pickleball during quiet hours while playing music and ping pong themselves.

This large PRIMITIVE campground is located super close to rock climbing and hiking area. Easy self check in of $8 by cash or Venmo. Just read the signs. There is a huge covered quanset building for bad weather. Also a covered pavilion for gatherings. I appreciated the private bathroom and hot shower after a day of hiking. Everyone I encountered was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my 2nd time here this year. This is a stellar camp! Tent sites or inside available, with shower and bathroom facilities. The previous owner, David, still lingers and is a phenomenal human. Under new Management of Red River Gorge Rentals, but they're super nice. Leave cash in cash box like usual. Lots of site options, and don't sleep on the downhill area. Also, in the back of the property there is a waterfall! Be careful! Follow the back road and it'll take you to the bottom. I hear you can get behind it and it's super refreshing in the summer. Can't wait to come back!

Great for camping inside or outside. This is in the middle of rock climbing country. It has a pavilion with electricity and several cooking areas. Bathroom and showers. The price is good and it is clean. A ZIP line is close by. Also an underground kayak experience. When I go to the Red River Gorge this is where I stay.
