Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park About

Hello, Missouri residents. When considering a long-term stay or seeking a new community for your mobile home or RV, gathering insights from current and past residents is invaluable. Today, we're taking a look at Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park, located in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, to provide you with a factual overview based on available public feedback.

Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park is situated in a rural part of Southwest Missouri, offering a quiet environment that often appeals to those looking for a more relaxed pace of life. For many, a mobile home park provides an affordable and convenient housing option, especially for RV owners seeking a permanent or semi-permanent base. It's common for such communities to evolve over time, and hearing directly from residents can paint a clearer picture of what to expect. While some residents have expressed that the park "was a really great place" when they first moved in, with "people were nice," recent feedback also highlights concerns that prospective residents should be aware of. Understanding these varied perspectives is key to making an informed decision about any long-term living arrangement.

Location and Accessibility

Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park is located at 17509 State Hwy 174, Mt Vernon, MO 65712, USA. This address places it within the peaceful rural landscape surrounding Mt. Vernon, a charming community in Lawrence County, Missouri.

State Highway 174 is a state route in Southwest Missouri, generally providing good accessibility. For residents, this means a relatively easy commute to the town of Mt. Vernon for necessities such as groceries, local services, and perhaps some dining options. Mt. Vernon itself offers a small-town atmosphere, and while it doesn't boast major urban amenities, it serves as a regional hub for the surrounding rural areas. Larger cities like Springfield, Missouri, with its broader range of shopping, healthcare, and entertainment options, are typically within a reasonable driving distance from Mt. Vernon (usually around a 30-40 minute drive). This balance of rural tranquility with access to essential services and larger city amenities makes the location potentially appealing for those seeking a quieter lifestyle. The park's direct access off a state highway should also facilitate straightforward entry and exit for mobile homes and RVs.

Services Offered

Based on the provided information, which primarily consists of resident reviews, direct details about specific services offered by Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park are not explicitly listed. As a mobile home park, it would typically offer spaces for residents to place their manufactured homes or RVs, along with essential utility hookups.

Common services in mobile home parks generally include:

  • Individual Mobile Home/RV Lots: Plots of land where residents can place their own mobile homes or park their RVs for long-term stays.

  • Utility Hookups: Access to essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer connections at each lot. However, it's worth noting that one review indicated issues with "sewer valve open to pit" at a different campground, which might be a concern that reflects generally on mobile home parks if maintenance is lacking.

  • Roads within the Park: Internal road systems for vehicle access to individual lots.

  • Community Management/Oversight: The presence of an owner or management team to handle leases, rules, and maintenance. However, reviews suggest that "most of the time the owner didn't care about doing anything" regarding necessary repairs, which could impact the quality of services.

It is crucial for prospective residents to directly inquire about the specifics of utilities, maintenance schedules, and any communal amenities when considering Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park, given the past resident feedback.

Features / Highlights

Based on the limited information provided by resident reviews, the "features" or "highlights" of Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park are primarily related to its community aspect and the general experience of living there over time.

  • Established Community: At one point, the park fostered a sense of community where "people were nice." This suggests a history of positive social interaction among residents.

  • Quiet Environment (Implied): While not explicitly stated as a feature, mobile home parks in rural areas like Mt. Vernon often offer a quieter living environment compared to more urban settings, which can be a draw for residents.

  • Affordable Living (Potential): Mobile home parks are often chosen for their affordability as a housing option, though specific pricing or value is not detailed in the reviews.

  • Long-Term Residency Potential: The nature of a mobile home park implies the ability for residents to establish long-term homes, providing stability for those seeking it.

It is important to acknowledge that recent feedback points to significant concerns regarding maintenance and management responsiveness, which has impacted the resident experience. While past residents recall positive initial experiences, more current comments suggest that the park’s overall condition and management attention may have declined. Prospective residents should verify current conditions and management practices.

Promotions or Special Offers

Given that Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park is primarily a residential community for mobile homes and potentially long-term RV parking, traditional "promotions" or "special offers" as seen in recreational RV parks or campgrounds are not typically advertised. Instead, the "offers" would pertain to the rental rates for individual lots and the terms of lease agreements.

However, the provided reviews suggest some significant challenges regarding tenant satisfaction and property maintenance. One reviewer explicitly stated, "People find a better place to live n not at this place. You would be better off believe me." This kind of strong sentiment indicates that potential issues with the living environment might outweigh any perceived "promotions" like low rent. When considering a mobile home park, the most important "offer" is a safe, well-maintained, and responsive living environment.

Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact the management directly for information on current lot availability, rental rates, lease terms, and to inquire about any active maintenance programs or planned improvements. It is also highly recommended to visit the park in person and speak with current residents to get the most up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the living conditions and management responsiveness.

Contact Information

For those considering Lucky Lady Mobile Home Park for their mobile home or long-term RV needs, direct contact with the management is essential to gather the most current and accurate information.

I want everyone know that when I first moved there it was a really great place. People were nice. Over the years things that needed to be fixed most of the time the owner didn't care about doing anything. Then people stopped paying their rent because of nothing being taken care of. People find a better place to live n not at this place. You would be better off believe me.
