This is a beautiful campground on Lake Keowee. Many of the sites are wooded and private, but the sites themselves are compact. The bathhouses are older, yet clean. The sites have water and electric only and the two dump stations are located at the entrance to the park, about 1 mile or so from the sites. The landscape is hilly so entry into some of the sites may be challenging. This was our second stay, the first during the summer and late fall this trip. We prefer fall camping by far. Beautiful hiking weather and a bit quieter with fewer boats and jet skis buzzing on the lake. lake.
