For many West Virginians, finding a comfortable and stable place to live is a significant consideration. When exploring such opportunities in our beautiful state, it's essential to gather as much factual information as possible to make an informed decision. Today, we're taking a closer look at a specific location that might be on your radar: Moundsville Mobile Home Park, situated right here in Moundsville, West Virginia.
Our aim is to provide a clear, factual, and informative overview of Moundsville Mobile Home Park. Unlike other positive descriptions, this article will prioritize presenting information gleaned directly from recent public feedback. It's crucial for prospective residents to understand the current reported conditions and experiences of those who live there. We will structure this information to ensure that local West Virginia users can gain a comprehensive understanding of what to expect, based on available public data.
Moundsville Mobile Home Park, located at 2300 7th St, Moundsville, WV 26041, USA, operates as a mobile home park, which typically offers lots for rent where individuals can place their own mobile homes. The concept of a mobile home park is designed to provide a more affordable housing solution compared to traditional stick-built homes, often fostering a sense of community among residents.
However, recent public reviews regarding Moundsville Mobile Home Park present a less favorable picture of the current living conditions and management practices. Multiple residents have expressed significant concerns that contrast sharply with the expectations one might have for a well-maintained and resident-focused community. One resident explicitly questioned, "The people that says this is a very nice park are you sure we are talking about same park?!! Couldn’t be!!!" This sentiment is further elaborated upon with specific details about challenges faced by residents. It is important for any West Virginian considering this park to be aware of these reported issues.
Moundsville Mobile Home Park is located at 2300 7th St, Moundsville, WV 26041, USA. Moundsville is a city in Marshall County, West Virginia, known for its historical significance and its position along the Ohio River. The park's address places it within a residential area of Moundsville, offering accessibility to local amenities and services that the city provides.
From a geographical standpoint, being in Moundsville means residents have access to local schools, grocery stores, various businesses, and community facilities within a relatively short distance. The city's road network connects to other areas in West Virginia and beyond, potentially making commutes for work or leisure manageable. However, accessibility to services within the park itself, particularly concerning infrastructure, has been a point of contention in resident feedback. While the physical address situates it within a populated area, the condition of the internal roads has been described as "horrible" and "like living in swamp and not kept up," suggesting that internal accessibility within the park may be a significant daily challenge for residents. This contrast between external location benefits and internal park conditions is a critical aspect for prospective residents to consider.
Based on the provided public reviews, the general expectation of services typically offered by a mobile home park, such as lot rentals for mobile homes and utility hookups, appears to be present. However, the quality and consistency of these services, particularly concerning park maintenance and management responsiveness, are areas of significant reported concern. Here’s a breakdown based on resident feedback:
When considering "features" and "highlights" for Moundsville Mobile Home Park based on the provided feedback, it's important to present them from the perspective of reported resident experiences rather than promotional claims. The current public reviews indicate that many features that would typically be highlights are, in fact, areas of significant concern.
Reported "features" and significant points for consideration include:
Given the nature of the public feedback provided, there is no mention of any promotions or special offers at Moundsville Mobile Home Park. The reviews primarily focus on concerns regarding rising rent and fees rather than any incentives for new or existing residents. In fact, the feedback indicates a pattern of frequent rent increases, which would likely negate any potential promotional benefits.
Residents report that "they raise the rent every three months," and that fees increased by "$50" within a three-month period. This suggests that the financial structure at the park is trending towards increased costs rather than offering discounts or special deals.
Prospective residents should factor in these reported frequent increases when considering the long-term affordability of living here, as any perceived initial value may be subject to rapid changes. It is highly advisable to seek direct clarification on current lot rental rates, any potential future increases, and the terms of lease agreements directly from the park management, while also being aware of the experiences reported by current residents.
For individuals who still wish to contact Moundsville Mobile Home Park despite the reported concerns, here is the available contact information:

Please note that residents have reported difficulties in getting timely responses from management and an inability to contact the owner directly, as "they only show the manager’s contact information in the rent payment app." When attempting to contact them, be prepared to clearly articulate your questions and seek detailed, written clarification on all terms, conditions, and maintenance commitments.
Based on the direct feedback from current residents, it is challenging to present Moundsville Mobile Home Park as a suitable or recommended option for locals in West Virginia, particularly when compared to other housing alternatives. The pervasive and significant issues reported by residents — including "horrible" and unmaintained roads, "low water pressure," frequent and substantial rent increases (every three months), unresponsive management, lack of direct owner contact, and concerns about potential eviction and trailer seizure for non-payment of escalating fees — paint a concerning picture.
While the general concept of mobile home living can offer affordability, the experiences detailed by residents at Moundsville Mobile Home Park indicate that the financial burden can become unpredictable and high, particularly when considering the reported lack of corresponding maintenance and service quality. The sentiment that "Other trailer courts in Moundsville are much more reasonable like Varlas, where the rent is less than $300 and they also have a laundromat," strongly suggests that better value and living conditions might be found elsewhere within the local area.
For West Virginians seeking a stable, affordable, and well-managed place to call home, these public reports serve as a critical warning. The challenges described go beyond minor inconveniences, touching upon fundamental aspects of living quality and financial security. Therefore, based on the provided resident reviews, Moundsville Mobile Home Park appears to be a location where local residents might encounter significant difficulties and should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent verification before considering it as a housing option, even in circumstances where options might seem limited. The priority for any West Virginian should be to secure housing that offers stability, fair terms, and responsive management, which, according to current feedback, are areas of considerable deficiency at this particular park.

The people that says this is a very nice park are you sure we are talking about same park?!! Couldn’t be!!! The roads are horrible, like living in swamp and not kept up!!
Mar 14, 2025 · Christy EllerDo not move here!!! The roads are not kept in shape, there is low water pressure in most mobile homes, management does not get back to you in a timely manner (and if they do they make case promises that never have resolution), and they raise the rent every three months. There is also no way to get into contact with the owner of the trailer park because they only show the manager’s contact information in the rent payment app. I have lived here for only 3 months and they have now raised fees by $50. $50 may not seem like a lot, but it is when you own the trailer and you are only renting the lot. Why do they increase the lot rent so often when they do not take care of the roads or the residents‘ needs inside? They don’t even send out the bill for rent on time in the mail, and some people have never got a bill in the mail. Other trailer courts in Moundsville are much more reasonable like Varlas, where the rent is less than $300 and they also have a laundromat. You can buy a trailer down here and own it and still have to pay $550 per month (until they raise rent again) or they will evict you and take your trailer from you. I would not recommend ever living here, even if you’re down on your luck.
Aug 22, 2024 · jackson LangstonThe roads inside the park are horrible!! The potholes are big enough to swallow a car and cause cars that are lower to the ground scrape the road also you can't get out of your vehicle without stepping in a mud hole. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you absolutely have to.
