Customer Reviews
The management is quite nosey, always get into peoples business and tells other tenants personal information about their neighbors financial dealings. The management always tells tenants that owners live in n.c. and that if something breaks or needs replacing she will try to get in touch and it might be a day or so before refrigerator is fixed( for instant) so all your food spoils yet you are not reimbursed the cost. Your deposit is never returned, always an Excuse . the outside around park is well kept. Looks nice. Shirley Conway's place is always perfect, she is management.
I loved the place until GreenLeaf bought us out a couple of months ago. It's a huge corporate company that is not at all good at getting things done. Furthermore, the lease is a joke. But I am still loving park and people, just really disappointed in the new Management company. They are bullish, threatening to us if we don't accept the crazy leases! I will change my review should Green Leaf get it's act together.
If i could give a half star I would, at first you think this is a quiet nice clean neighborhood, me and my wife soon learned that these people are nosey and tells everyone else's business,,Our neughbors were great people ,they even warned us ,,Frank circles everyone's trailers first thing in morning and then when they want to intimidate you they harass you about your yard(even though it's in the lease not to do lawnwork they have it done for you). They won't fix anything that goes wrong in your place saying they cannot get ahold of the owner, etc. We also think they came into our place when we were gone on vacation, they watch everything you do like hawks whenever you have company,,when your outside, walking, never any privacy. Shirley lies ,she told us rent was one amount then 3 months after she changed it, mind u we paid more the first 3 months but they, when it comes down to it are just nosey and bored and it's ridiculous, Shirley says the owner lives in NC somewhere yet nobody ever has met nor seen the owner. They go the wrong way on the drive but if u do it one time they make a big stink about it and act like it's a tragedy. Frank claims he can fix stuff but it's all done crappy, and not done correctly. It's creepy because you cannot take a walk literally without them getting in their vehicles and circling you or they have their goons do it for them, their goons are lifers here and good friends with Shirley and Frank. I don't suggest anyone rents from them,I have known many good people leave and they never give you back your deposits, sayin you have to get the floors "professionally" cleaned, etc. This was only a stepping stone for me and my family, they are wolves in sheep's clothing. Beware!
If there was a way to give a half star or none at all, I would have. I spent from the end of December thru all the cold months with no heat. Because they won't fix ANYTHING! Shirly who runs the park is the rudest person to deal with and is VERY dishonest. I payed cash a lot bc I'm a server and she would try to not give me receipts...but I insisted bc I had already been warned after moving in of how dishonest she is. She always blames everything on someone named Joan who no-one has ever seen. Even neighbors say they have never seen Joan??? She says she gave me a lease...NEVER HAPPENED. SO when I decided to move, she lied and said she in fact gave me one and proceeded to lie about things she supposedly told me when I overpayed to move in. She is all about the almighty dollar and not doing what is right! If you do decide to rent from her, insist on a lease. And no matter what, do NOT expect to ever get your deposit back because she will find a way to screw you out of it! Also if u like privacy...not the place for you. She and Frank will circle the park and have their goonies who have lived there for years watching your EVERY move. I even believe they entered my home when I was sick and not home! In the end a lie is a lie and the truth is the truth. You can't make a lie the truth or vice versa. What you sow.... You will reap. Its on you at this point Shirly!
I live here it's a decent neighborhood we never have to worry about really anything it's a awesome neighborhood
