Promotions or Special Offers

As a facility managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and primarily booked through Recreation.gov, Twin Lakes Campground #47 typically does not offer direct promotional discounts or special offers in the same way a privately owned business might. The pricing structure is generally standardized across federal recreation sites, with rates varying based on site type and season.

However, there are established federal programs that can provide significant savings for eligible campers:

  • America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series: For certain qualifying individuals, such as U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are seniors (age 62 and above) or those with permanent disabilities, these passes can provide a 50% discount on camping fees at federal recreation sites, including Twin Lakes Campground. This can substantially reduce the cost of your stay.

  • Off-Peak Season Rates: While not a promotional offer, rates for campsites might be slightly lower during the off-peak season (typically the colder months from December to March) when demand is generally reduced and fewer loops might be open. This can be a more budget-friendly time for locals to visit and experience the campground in a quieter setting.

  • Booking in Advance: Although not a discount, securing your preferred campsite up to six months in advance through Recreation.gov is a valuable benefit, especially during popular times. This ensures you get the ideal spot for your specific needs.

The campsites here are absolutely beautiful. I have never rented from here but I've been here many times with friends to go kayaking. I wouldn't suggest going out in the water on a very hot day as the water isn't that cold but as far as everything else I highly recommend this place. The only downside... Is being able to book a spot because they are always packed
