North Landing Beach RV Resort & Cottages is strategically located at 161 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23457, USA. This address places it in the Pungo area of Virginia Beach, a more rural and naturally preserved section of the city, distinct from the busy main Oceanfront. Its position on the North Landing River, part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, provides direct waterfront access and picturesque views.
While offering a serene escape, the resort remains remarkably accessible for Virginians. It's approximately 20-25 minutes south of the main Virginia Beach Oceanfront, allowing guests to easily venture out for urban entertainment, dining, and attractions when desired. The proximity to major roads like Princess Anne Road provides relatively straightforward access from various parts of Virginia, including Norfolk, Chesapeake, and other cities in the Hampton Roads area. For those arriving from further afield, its location also offers convenient access to areas south into North Carolina's Outer Banks via the Currituck Ferry (about 10 miles away), providing options for day trips and broader exploration.
One reviewer noted that while the resort itself is fantastic, the roads leading to it (particularly if coming from I-64) can be "very rough," advising caution for RV travelers. Despite this, the consensus is that the peaceful, "out of the way" location contributes significantly to its appeal, making it a true retreat. For guests who choose not to drive their own vehicles, golf cart rentals are available on-site, making it easy to navigate the resort and access all amenities without needing to move their RV. This blend of secluded natural beauty and convenient access to both local and regional attractions makes North Landing Beach RV Resort & Cottages a highly desirable location for an RV vacation in Virginia.

RV travelers, spending time with family in VB, VA. Did not spend a lot of time at the park/resort. Great amenities. Owner/ops folks were amazing and very helpful. We had some vehicle problems, and they made recommendations to repair services (Back Bay Automotive). We were back up and running in one day!
May 14, 2025 · Jackie CenterwallOur absolute favorite camping spot. The sunsets are amazing. Don't want to cook when you camp? No problem! They sell delicious breakfast on the weekends and there is a pizza and ice cream shop on site. The staff is friendly and so helpful.
Mar 26, 2025 · Meredith PriceBeautiful, clean, well organized waterfront RV park a short drive away from downtown Virginia Beach, but far enough away from the hubbub for a peaceful vacation. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. RV sites were roomy and well maintained. Bathhouses were very clean with handicap accessible showers. Lots of new tiny houses/cottages for rent as well. Weekend activities including breakfasts, dinners, dances, and bingo even in the non-peak season. We arrived a few days before an unusual 12" snowstorm. Staff worked tirelessly to clear the park as well as defrosting our frozen water hook-up. Highly recommend this RV park. This will be our campground for our next stay in the area.
Feb 22, 2025 · Gretchen GWe stay at the NLB RV Resort when we visit our son and daughter in law who are a Navy family and live nearby. On the last visit, we stayed in a studio cabin and we loved it. It is perfect for a couple. The cabin and all of the facilities are impeccably clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We use the fitness room for a morning workout when we stay there.
