My very first camping trip I believe I was three years old so was my first bear sighting. My words were it sure has a pretty fur coat lol although I haven’t been there for sometime all the way up through until my mid 20s. I was there all the time wonderful memories riding the Dirtbike across the Mountain tops wonderful friendships gone by, but memories not forgotten! RIP Guy Parrish..
Apr 25, 2025 · Ray's Place CasonNice cheap place to camp. Personally I would have liked some more space between the camp sites and more trees. But for $5 it’s pretty good. There is a pit toilet here also. It’s first come first served, so it could be full on nice weekends. Also, bring $5 bills. Paying is a self service drop box type thing.
Apr 01, 2024 · Aaron GreenBeautiful well keeped forest and park and campground! The creek wraps around the sites and close trails. We liked the campground enough that we stayed again on our home from NC. Primitive camping, vault toilets. Some reviews state that the sites are close, I suppose maybe, but everyone was polite. $5. Maybe only one or two sites if towing a larger RV. Cheers! Gretchen (PA)
Sep 26, 2024 · JJ PainterAs minimal as my wife will accept :) - that is - there are pit toilets - that's it. No shower. No running water - except that all the camp sites are right next to the river, so there is plenty of running water. And for $5 a night, that is pretty sweet.
